Chapter Ten: Sixth Year

Rosalie’s P.O.V
It has been a few years since I started attending Hogwarts and I was now in my Sixth Year at Hogwarts while James, Remus, Peter and Sirius along with Marlene and Lily were in their Seventh Year and classes has just recently started and after today’s classes and I have decided to go to the Astronomy Tower after doing my homework earlier and I began to think about my feelings towards Remus and how much I’ve grown to love him since the day I’ve met him as it brought a small smile to my face as I began to think about what it would be like if the both of us were married and living together with kids running around the house until I felt someone rest their hand over mine and I looked to see that it was Remus and I smiled at him, “hey, what were you thinking about that put a smile on your face?” he asked me and I sighed a little, “what it would be like after I graduate next year.” I told him as I made up a lie, “I don’t blame you. I like it here and I never want to leave.” he said and I chuckled a little, “I feel the same. It’s too beautiful out here to stay away.” I said to him as I looked out over the amount of land that there was that surrounded the Castle before I noticed that Remus was looking at me, “what are you looking at?” I asked, chuckling a little, “have you ever noticed how beautiful you look?” he asked me and I blushed a little and looked away, “I have something to tell you.” he told me after a moment of silence and I looked at him, “what is it?” I asked him as my heart started to race, “from the moment I met you when you started coming here, I’ve started to fall in love with you. I never told you because I thought that you would never want to feel the same towards someone like me, so I was scared to tell you before. But now that I’ve gotten to know you better over the years, I know that you would see me that way. So Rosalie Potter, will you be my girlfriend?” he said to me and I sat there in shock that he felt the same way about me, “yes” I said to him as I finally answered before our lips connected and in that moment, we didn’t care about the world around us as it was just us two as the kiss was killed with passion.

After a while, we broke away from the kiss to catch our breath and I smiled as our foreheads were pressed together, “I love you Rosalie Potter.” he said to me causing me to smile, “I love you to Remus Lupin.” I said to him as he held me close to him as we looked up at the stars for a while longer before both Remus and I had decided to go back to the Common Room for the night and as we walked there, the both of us held hands the entire time and once we finally made it to the Common Room for the night, James, Sirius and Peter along with Marlene and Lily noticed us and called us over to them before James spoke up, “why are you two holding hands?” he asked us and Remus and I just looked at each other before looking back at the others and smiled at them, “you’re not. Finally.” Marlene said to us, “what?” James asked, “they’re dating you bloody git. Remus must have asked her out.” Sirius told James before he looked at Remus, “don't hurt her. And not in the way you think” James told Remus, “I know what you meant James, so don’t worry alright, I won’t hurt her I promise.” Remus told him and I smiled a little as the both of us hung out with them for the night before we decided to go to bed for the night. 

Remus’s P.O.V
After Rosalie had gone to bed for the night, I decided to sit down in the Common Room for a while since I wasn’t tired and thought to myself as a smile grew on my face as I thought about earlier and how happy it made me as I finally got the girl that I fell for years ago and I was brought out of my thoughts when I saw James sit down next to me, “I’m glad she has you.” he said to me, “actually, I’m glad I have her. I always thought that when she found out she would run away in fear of wanting to be around me, but now that I got to know her, she had done the complete opposite of what I thought and I’m really grateful for that. She means a lot to me James, I hope you know that.” I told him as he patted my back, “I know Remus, and she feels the same towards you, I can tell she loves you.” he said to me and we smiled at each other, how are you and Lily doing?” I asked him, “great.” he said and we continued to talk for a while longer before deciding to head to our dorm for the night and eventually went to bed for the night and once I had gotten into bed, I had fallen asleep with a smile on my face as I thought about Rosalie as I finally fell asleep that night.

Rosalie’s P.O.V
It was another day and classes were going by quickly as we finally had Study Break and I had gotten to the Great Hall and looked around, trying to find Remus until I finally found him sitting with James and the others and I smiled and went up to him and wrapped my arms around him, “hey love. How is your day going?” Remus asked me as I kissed his cheek and sat down next to him, “it’s better now that I’m with you.” I told him as we both chuckled and did our work together throughout the entire Study Break until we had to leave and got to the rest of our classes. Once classes were done for the day, I headed back to the Common Room and did my Homework and once I decided to go for a walk and made it to the Astronomy Tower and thought to myself before I noticed Remus sit down next to me and I smiled at him, “how was your day?” I asked him as I held his hand, “it was good. Better now that I’m with you. How was yours?” he said and I chuckled a little, “it was good and it’s better now.” I said to him and the both of us just sat there talking about how our days went until I realized that Remus and I come here a lot, “I think this has become our spot. Don’t you think so?” I said to him and he sighed a little, “yeah, it has. I enjoy it up here with just the two of us together talking and looking out at the view. It’s peaceful.” he said and I smiled as I looked out at the view and we continued to hang out and I rested my head on Remus’s shoulder and eventually fell asleep and felt him kiss my head and I smiled a little as I drifted off to sleep.

After a while, I felt someone gently shake me awake and I began to wake up and yawned a little as I rubbed my eyes and looked at Remus, “I think it’s time to wake up Rosie. It’s almost time for dinner.” he told me and I nodded, “alright, we should head back to the Common Room then.” I said and the both of us got up and headed back to the Common Room only to be bombarded with questions, “what were you two doing. Don’t tell me that you guys were getting it on.” Sirius said and I just glared at him, “we weren’t doing anything.” Remus told him, “good. She’s too young.” James said and I rolled my eyes and eventually, we walked to the Great Hall for dinner and we just hung out and talked the entire time we ate our food and laughed and when dinner was over we all headed back to the Common Room for the rest of the night and during that time, I cuddled with Remus the entire time on the couch until we decided to go to bed for the night and I decided to sleep in Remus’s Dorm for the night and we just laid there talking to each other as he held me before I noticed that he was thinking about something, “what is it Remus?” I asked him, “I’m just thinking about us.” he said and I propped myself on my elbow and caressed his cheek, “and what would that be?” I asked him, “I was thinking about what it would be like if we lived together, married and had a family.” he said and I smiled a little, “sounds perfect to me.” I told him and we both chuckled a little until he looked concerned, “what is it?” I asked him, “if we ever had kids if we’re still together, what if they get what I have. It’s genetic, what I have.” he said and I moved his hair out of his eyes, “if they do, we will figure it out. We will take care of them and help them go through it.” I told him before kissing him before the both of us eventually fell asleep after talking for a while longer.
