Chapter 21

Trigger warning - talk of blood, thoughts of dying

Anna Faze.
October 28th, 2021.

Walking into the dining hall, I see a few people from the stage crew and Pauli with Elin.

"Anna!" Elin calls out. She waves me over to sit with them.

"Hi!" I say with a quite cheerful tone, I go over to them and sit down with them.

The three of us talked over lunch, once we got done we all did sound check and played around on stage for a bit before I had to go back to my room for a meeting.

That meeting went longer than I anticipated. It was meant to be a twenty-minute meeting but turned into a two-hours. I close my laptop and grab my phone to see almost two hundred text messages from Harry, Kenny, Jeff, Tommy, Tallulah, even my mom. I opened the ones from my mom first.

"Oh my god." I mumble to myself.

From: Mama
At: 5:13 pm.
People are calling my phone left and right asking where you are!! Call me now!! Tell me you're safe.

My eyebrows bunch together in confusion, why would anyone call her asking where I am?

From: Mama
At: 5:19 pm.
Anna, you're starting to scare me. I need to know you're in safe hands. You know this is my biggest fear with you. I can't get my hands on you so I'm having to trust other people and now they're calling me asking if I've talked to you in the past two hours, please god tell me you're safe.

Then the text's from Harry.

From: Harry
At: 4:39 pm.
Where are you?

From: Harry
At: 4:52 pm.
I tried calling you... I need you to pick up, Anna!! Please call me back!

It's like I've been kidnapped. Has no one thought to look in my room? I've been here the whole time. I was just with Pauli and Elin at lunch. I open the text's from Kenny and Jeff.

From: Kenny
At: 4:32 pm.
Where did you go too? You've been "missing" for the past hour, people are starting to freak out. You know you can't get up and leave without telling someone!!

From: Jeff
At: 4:35 pm.
Did you leave the arena??

From: Jeff
At: 4:37 pm.
Anna, you know you can't go somewhere without telling someone. Where the hell did you go? It's been almost an hour and Harry has already called you over 40 times now. Where are you??

Oh my god.

From: Harry
At: 5:00 pm.
baby, I need to know you're safe. The last people to have seen you were Pauli and Elin and they don't remember where you were going. Anna baby, pick your phone up.

I didn't want my phone to go off in the meeting so I did what I normally do. I turn on do not disturb, I probably should go out and relieve people of the stress, I've apparently created.

I shove my phone into the back pocket of my jeans, and I put my computer on the charger, laying it on the arm on the couch. I put my AirPods back into the charger as well and set them on the coffee table.

I opened the door and the first thing was people running by, I stepped back since I wasn't expecting that to be the first thing I saw. I walk out a little more and look down both ways of the hallway, empty, like a desert.

"Okay." I say to myself. I felt my phone go off again.

At: 5:01 pm.
All by yourself I see..

At: 5:02 pm.
It would be awful if something were to happen to you.

A mind-numbing chill runs down my spine. I look back down at my phone, it turned off. I try to turn it back on but it won't. Before I can question why it's not turning on, the lights turn off and everything goes black.
