Harry Styles.
June 19th, 2022.

Is it cheesy to admit that life is better now that I have Anna back? If so, I'm still going to say it. After having her fall asleep in my arms last night, most of my guilt from everything I've done felt okay to let go. Most of it felt okay-ish to get go, not everything however.

I check my phone for the time, it's fifteen after nine. I get out of bed and go use the bathroom and brush my teeth. I put on one of my sweaters and go downstairs, as I get to the kitchen I hear Anna's voice coming from the office.

As I walk down the hall to the office I hear her say. "That's great Sasha. I still haven't heard back from the important ones, it is Sunday and I sent the email on Thursday. If nothing happens by Tuesday I will be calling and getting more onto them than I have been."

I lean on the doorway as I watch her spin side to side in the chair as she talks with Sasha. I didn't want to overhear things I shouldn't hear so I quietly made myself known to her. I also did it so i wouldn't scare her by just standing here.

I got her attention by softly knocking on the door to the office. An innocent smile took over her face once she saw me, she put herself on mute to Sasha over the phone as she continued to talk. I walk over to her.

I lean down to her, sharing a kiss with her before she says. "I won't be long, we're almost done."

I nod my head at her words, I kiss her again and say. "I'll leave you to it."

Her attention was taken back by something Sasha said, I didn't hear what she had said.

She unmutes herself and says. "That's something different to say." I went to leave like I said I would but she grabbed my arm from letting me go.

She mutes herself once again and stands up to give me a quick kiss and goes back to her phone call.

This could very easily turn into a back and forth game of just kissing each other. Since she's on an important phone call, I leave her to pay attention to it and focus.

I go back to the kitchen and let Milo outside. I make myself a tea and go on the back patio to sit and enjoy it. The squirrels didn't get in anything– thank god. I hate them with a burning pashing.

It wasn't too long after I had come outside that Anna came to join Milo and I.

She comes around from behind me as she says. "Morning."

I uncross my legs and motion for her to come sit as I say, "Morning love."

"How did you sleep?" She asks as she sits down on my right leg.

I put my arm around her waist as she gets comfortable. "I slept very well. How about you?" I asked her.

"Didn't move all night." She says. She put her phone down in my lap so she can rub her eye as she adds. "I will say, being woken up by Sasha isn't very fun."

I move my hand from holding her side to running it up and down her back. "I'm sorry Hon. We can go back and lay in bed if you'd like." I offered up to her.

She finishes rubbing her eyes and says. "Oh I would love to but Peyton will be here soon and I need to go shower and get ready. I think she said something about going to Oxford Street."

"If you go there, take Barlowe with you." I say. It was more of me telling her and not suggesting it to her.

"I will. She leaves tonight and then we'll have two days of just the two of each other–." She gasps, cutting her words off. "Olivia is here, has she tried to do or say anything to you?" She asks.
