Chapter 2

“Hey Emma, Do you want to go out to watch a movie?” I said, letting my voice go deeper and I winked.

Damn, I look gay.

I tried another style. I walked past the mirror and I flipped my hair.

Shit I looked like Justin Beiber.

 Does she like Justin Beiber? I arranged my hair to look like Justin Beiber. Heck. She’s gonna love me. I looked at my mobile checking the time. Five minutes. She’d be going for her usual jog. I’ve been wondering how to get close to her, I needed her to trust me so that she would take me to… I refused to let her name come to my mind.

How can a love as true as ours loose?

I’ll always fight for her.

I walked out calmly wearing, a green shirt and black jeans. I walked into the park and lingered there waiting for Emma. I shoved my hands into a pocket when a pretty blond walked up to me. For a minute I thought she was, but she looked up and I saw her deep blue eyes. “Hey Izzy,” I said.

“Hey Drake,” She said, Izzy was one of Kaithlyn’s many friends. “So you want to watch a movie sometime?” She said smiling.

“No thanks,”

“Come on, It’ll be fun,” She said, leaning closer her breath playing with my cheek. She tip toed to reach my face, and her hands, cold and soft started playing with my hair.

Izzy and I used to date before I met Kaithlyn. It’s actually how I met Kaith. Thanks to Izzy. She invited me for a sleepover and I feel in love with an angel. John tell’s me Izzy hasn’t moved on after Kaith left me. But I didn’t want to get back together with Izzy. It’s hard to love a normal person after you fall in love with an angel.

I closed my eyes, Her fingers were so like Kaith’s. I opened my eyes to meet Emma’s Brown ones. She was standing there across the park watching me.

I pulled away from Izzy. “Sorry Izzy not today,” I jogged away to Emma.

She cut me off, “Dude, just get away, Your girlfriends glaring at me like there’s no tomorrow,” She laughed a cold laugh “Don’t stop because of me,”

“She isn’t my girlfriend,” I said angrily.

“Could have fooled me,” Emma said in a sing song voice.

“Why do you care?”

“I don’t!”

“You do,”

“Do Not,” She said angrily and walked away.

I yelled “DO TO!”

She looked at me a hard long look and whistled. Not the one’s guys give attractive females but a sharp whistle. A fiery animal started running towards me. The dog was a German Shepard with a black patch on the back and brown hair all over. Its ears were black and it stopped at Emma’s feet.

Emma commanded. “Attack,” She pointed at me.

What the hell?

Next thing I knew, a crazy wild dog was trying to eat me!

I ran for my life. “Emma get your morbid dog of me” I yelled running around in circles, I looked for a tree I could climb and spotted one. “EMMA!” I yelled running up to climb the tree. Did I mention I was wearing Jeans?

Thanks to my lovely denim’s I couldn’t’ climb it so the demon dog tackled me to the ground. I heard a whistle and the dog didn’t move, just tied me to the ground and let its slobber drool all over me. It kept on growling. A deep growl, scaring the crap out of me.

“Say you’re a stupid idiot and I’ll let you go,” Emma said smirking as she pulled out her phone and started videotaping me.

“no!”

“Rex,” She said. Which chick call’s their dog Rex? Weird chicks who wear weirder shirts apparently.

The dog opened its teeth and growled at me, slobber feel across my forehead. “Fine, I’m a stupid idiot,” I mumbled.

“Louder,” She sang in a stupid voice.

“I’m a stupid idiot,”

“Good,”

“Good?”

“Yeah good, Rex you can eat him,” She said meddling with her phone.

“What?” I whispered.

The dog licked my face and walked back to Emma. I couldn’t help but wonder how the heck I’m gonna survive with her.
