"As last petal falls, the Beast gazes at Belle as he collapse. She ran to him and held him in her arms. 'No! Please. I love you!'

The rain began to fall gently. Slowly, the beast opened his eyes and in astonishment, he watched as his paws change into hands. He held them out to Belle. 'Belle, it's me.'

Belle hesitated and then looked into his eyes, 'It's you.'

The prince drew her close and kissed her. The darkness around the palace soon disappeared and happiness blossomed. True love had finally broke the spell, and everyone danced for joy."

Shivanya Desai closed the story book and looked at her daughters. Reena, her elder born was already in deep slumber but Shravani, her youngest one was still awake and was looking at her with her beautiful round brown eyes.

"What happened, dear? Why didn't you sleep yet?" Shivanya asked her five year old as she took the child and held her, close to her heart.

"Couldn't sleep mama." The child replied snuggling more into her mother's warmth.

"Why? What happened, baby?" Shivanya enquired.

"I don't know." Little Shravani pouted.

"Aww my baby. It's ok. Mama is here with you." Shivanya kissed her daughter.

"Mama?"

"Ha baby?" Shivanya replied looking into the curious orbs of her little daughter.

"Mama, why did the beauty go back to the beast even after he hurt her?" Curious little Shravani asked.

"Because she was in love, Shravani. She loved the beast so much that she forgave and forgot whatever unjust he did to her." Shivanya answered, her eyes twinkling with unshed tears.

"But mama how can she love someone who hurt her?" Little Shravani frowned.

"My little Shravani, love is blind and love can be foolish. Our heart doesn't always love the right people at the right time. Sometimes we hurt the ones that love us the most and sometimes we love the ones that don't deserve our love at all. Love is the most beautiful of dreams and the worst of nightmares." She whispered with a sad smile.

"Why do we love someone when it makes us weak? Isn't love the sign of weakness?" Little Shravani asked.

Shivanya chuckled hearing her daughter's words. "Who told you this nonsense, Baby?

"Dada." Shravani replied innocently.

"Your dada is wrong, baby. Being in love feels like safety and comfort and unwavering trust. Like you can be your true self no matter what and be appreciated for it rather than in spite of it. Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage." Shivanya wiped the lonely tear that fell from her eyes before her daughter could notice.

"Oh." Shravani nodded her head understandingly, though it was sure that she didn't understand half of her mother's words.

"Shravani, love is hard to find, hard to keep, and hard to forget. So never, I mean it, never hurt or leave the person who truly loves you because life doesn't always gives us second chances. When something feels right, just hold on to it." Shivanya looked quite remorseful, her eyes shining with deep regret as she uttered each words.

"I love you, mama." Shravani hugged her mother seeing the sadness in her mother's eyes.

"I love you too, baby." She whispered, clutching the little girl close to her heart.

Shravani opened her eyes and sat up on the bed feeling completely breathless. Another beautiful piece of memory coming back to her in the form of a painful nightmare. This was one of those few beautiful memory she had of her mother.

Ever since her last meeting with Rocky, it had became a routine for her to wake up in the middle of the night, dreaming a beautiful memory, she shared with her mother. She couldn't understand what was happening to her. Her heart and mind were in chaos ever since she saw his brazen behaviour with the poor lady.

His words, his actions, his pain that day were raw and heartwarming, something one won't see in a thug like him. She don't know why his actions and words were affecting her. He was not the man he shows himself to be. Underneath his cold eyes lays a mystery, one that refuses to unveil before anyone. He was supposed to be a pawn in her game but instead she ended up catching feelings for him.

She shouldn't be feeling protected in his arms like she did the other day. She could still feel twinkling sensation on her neck as she recollected that memory. She should be disgusted with the way he touched her yet she couldn't bring herself to do it. Because a part of her knew, she let him touch her. She let him near her, touch her.

No, she doesn't love him, it was something else. Maybe a raw desire or maybe admiration, she doesn't know but either way she knew a part of her longs for him. She was not supposed to feel something for him, something that she knew would cause not just his but her life as well. Because these kind of violent delights have violent ends.

Smiles and tears are so alike for her, they are neither of them confined to any particular feelings because either way she ends up with her eyes filled tears and heart with pain. She wants to be wild and free, free of all restrictions placed on her. She wanted to be a free bird, wandering around in search of true happiness. But alas they are all just dreams for her, dreams that would never be fulfilled.

She thought he was her chance to freedom but alas how wrong she was. She knew whatever she was feeling for him was dangerous which needed to be stopped before it turns out to be....No, no, nothing like that will happen. She couldn't help but chuckle at the irony. Her sister was right after all. She was indeed attracting trouble for herself.

She sighed, sleep was far from her eyes. The air around her felt suffocating and ominous. She felt breathless. Wiping her tears, she moved out of her room. She found her legs stopping before her sister's room, like always.

Without thinking twice, she opened the door and stepped in. She blinked a few times letting her eyes adjust in the dark room. A smile traced her lips as she found her sister sound asleep on her bed.

'At least she is getting some sleep.' she thought looking at her sister.

She got on the bed and lied comfortably, pulling the blanket towards her making Reena groan in irritation before snuggling into her sister's warmth.

"Reena?" Shravani called out after a minute of silence.

"Hmm" Reena hummed in response.

"I have decided to stop my plan and get married to Virat itself." Shravani said as her mind whispered, 'because now I understand, my fate is sealed and there is no way out.'

"Good. Now sleep and let me sleep too." Reena groaned pulling the blanket towards her.

Shravani frowned at her sister's nonchalant behaviour but nevertheless decided to heed to her sister's words. She closed her eyes and slowly drifted into a peaceful slumber.
