AKIRA HASHIHITO chapter 5

A slumber that felt like an eternity. This is the first time in the last few years I had such a good sleep.

After waking up I went straight to take a shower and lost myself while warm water flows from my head to toes.

The bath felt really refreshing for my body but my feelings were as empty as ever.

I dressed up, took my bag and walked downstairs. My mother looked quite happy until she saw my dead eyes.

I just walked outside, straight to school.

My body felt so heavy that I could barely lift my feet. I somehow managed to reach my class.

I went straight to sleep after sitting in my chair. I was lost in my suicidal dreams.

Every time I try to kill myself, I only hurt the people who are near me.

Once I tried to step in front of a speeding truck and be gone for good but I ended up causing trouble for the truck driver and people nearby.

I don't have the strength to kill myself with my own hands. Even if I had the strength to do so I may not be able to do so. I don't want to leave my mother alone in this world. I only wish for her to be happy.

If I could have a wish granted, I would wish for all the good in the world happen to her.

After an unsettling sleep I opened my eyes and saw Mina being all worried. I asked her what had happened.

Mina with tears in her eyes, "You...You idiot. You worried me to death." "After I came to class, I saw you asleep so I didn't wake you up but when the teacher came, I tried waking you up but you didn't wake up. The teacher came herself and tried to wake you up but even then, you didn't wake up. She tried to wake you up by beating you, even then you didn't wake up." "It's already lunch break and every teacher tried to wake you up by beating the shit out of you but you idiot just slept there without even moving an inch."

"Oh...Is that so?"

"You fucking moron you scared the shit out of me. I thought something has happened to you and no one seems to even care for you. I didn't know what to do." She said while hitting me with her soft feather hands.

"I'm sorry. I'll try never to worry you." I said with a smile.

Mina stopped hitting me and walked out of the class. I slowly followed her to the roof top.

When I entered the roof top Mina jumped right on to me and hugged me.

I was too stunned to move a muscle. I felt warm and comfortable, at the same time I felt embarrassed as she was squeezing her boobs onto my chest.

My face became boiling hot. Even in this cold weather I started sweating.

I liked this feeling a lot and I wanted to hug her but I was too ashamed of myself to do that. I am not worthy enough to do it.

I didn't want it to look like she was pushing herself onto me, so I took up the courage to hug her.

I slowly raised my hands to her waist and was closing on to her body. With her arms around my neck and her face so close to me, my breathing became heavy.

I was so close to putting my hand around her waist and then she pushed me away.

"........" "......"

"I saw it when I was treating you yesterday. I'm not going to ask about it or force you to tell me." Mina said while looking at my body.

I smiled a little, "So you did see it. The scars on my body."

"I didn't mean to. I just happened to see them while I was treating your wounds. I'm really sorry."

"You don't have to. You saw them while treating my wounds and I'm very grateful for that. Just forget that you saw anything and when the time comes if you want to know about it, I'll tell you."

Mina nodded and looked at the sky. "When the time comes, I'll also let you in on something."

"What is it about?"

"You'll know when the time comes."

"Okay then. I'll be waiting for that time to come."

After a few minutes of silence, Mina said, "Did you know that Ben was hospitalized?"

"What?"

"Apparently, after you beat him to pulp, he went unconscious and did not wake up until now. He's still in the hospital getting treatment." "No one in the school knows what exactly happened to Ben. Our classmates think that you used some dirty trick and it's all your fault for Ben being hospitalized. Since, you were the one he was after when everyone left." "Most probably someone might come after you, after the school. We must be careful not to get caught. Even though I know that you can handle things, I don't want to go through the same experience as yesterday."

"......" I just nodded.

Soon we went back to our class and right after the last class ended, we tried to leave as soon as possible but people were already at our class door.

It was too late to escape. We could not take anyone's help to escape.

"Where do you think you are going, you bastard." The leader of the gang of upperclassmen who is acquainted with Ben, Henry. He is one of the few people who can control Ben.

"..." I didn't answer him because I know no matter what I say they are going to pick on me.

Henry quickly grabbed my collar and dragged me outside. Mina was about to get involved. So, I signed her not to get involved and told her to go home.

Henry took me to a ground near our school and threw me on the ground. I know for sure that he is not doing it to get revenge on Ben. Ben was a good reason for them to beat me up.

I was ready to get beaten the shit out of me. I'm kind of used to it by now.

"You already look ready to get your ass beaten. Then I won't waste any more time."
