Part III : Color Me In Different Shades of Hue

Y/N, for all the time they've spent together back when they were kids even when they got reunited back again freshman year college, there was sure one thing that Jennie knew didn't change.

Y/N is nice.

Always been, always ever be.

Jennie thinks it's both a blessing and a curse.

It hurt Jennie that she could never be mad nor pissed at someone for far too long, always with the smiles, the shyness, the blushy mess, everything in between. A part of that being nice is being worried and sensitive all the time too, that's why in situations like these when she's sick it's either she's annoyed at Y/N or her heart beating so goddamn fast at how much care she was giving Jennie. And it was one of those times when her heart is going to burst at how Y/N is looking and touching her right now, as if she was fragile - something she would cherish.

Her conversation earlier with her unnie now out of her mind, her face didn't sting anymore - Y/N didn't even look like she cared that much for Jisoo because she didn't even ask where she went or if she got out safely, it was something that made Jennie's heart flutter even more.

"Go upstairs in my room. Go under the covers. I'll be with you after the food and we will cuddle, that sounds good?" Of course that sounds good! It was all Jennie craved ever since this morning after they. . .you know. It made Jennie close her eyes for a moment in submission, before nodding away - opening her eyes with a smile. "Go up now, I'll be quick."

The said love of her life gave her a kiss near the lips, and Jennie knew she's a blushing mess after that.

"Be quick."

"I will my love."

Jennie nodded her head once again, biting her lip because she knew she was going to blush again. After that, she turned around and made her way back upstairs - like Y/N instructed her to and found the way to where her bedroom was like she indicated. It was in the very end of the hallways with her paintings hanging on the walls that Jennie had seen a hundred of times in her tiny apartment, locked in the corner because she had no space to hang it on - and it even made her smile.

It makes her happy Y/N living in a huge house now.

Slowly she walked past a certain room, the room Y/N was locking earlier when she saw her and asked why she was taking so long. The door was a deep, mahogany hue. Made of insane wood, and it has a lock - a password lock that got Jennie wondering why the hell it has a lock. Maybe she wanted to keep her precious art all locked up away from Jae to see. She thought, because the said girl is always one to ruin her paintings even so, when she was still a kid.

Suddenly curious, because. . .well, it looks like out of all the doors in the house it was the only one which is locked - Jennie had to make a pretty quick glance at her master's bedroom door to see that it doesn't have a high end security attached on the knob.

I'm sure she won't get angry when I take a look inside. She always shows me her work. Jennie thought, biting her lip and already thinking of the password - and when she did, she immediately punched in the right numbers before suddenly, there was a click.

"What the hell, I can't believe that worked. She still uses the same password every time," Jennie shook her head, and just like that - her hand made its way on top of the doorknob, before opening slightly - her eyes being embraced by darkness. By the air the clacking of her heels, she knew this indeed was the art studio because of the smell of acrylic, some oil she doesn't know of - the space huge enough for her to hear her heels clacking. "What. . "
