The Chao Garden - Part 2

Shadow's POV (AGAIN? Ugh... 😒):

A silver hedgehog had asked from behind Sonic and I, scaring us both. We both turned around to face the silver hedgehog, and Sonic sighed in relief.

"SILVER, you scared us!" Sonic said, I crossed my arms.

"Oh heh, sorry Sonic!" Silver said, switching his eyes over to me.

"Mephiles? What are you doing here? You're supposed to be in your room! And how do you have a mouth now?" Silver said, making me look at him in a confused manner.

"Umm... Are you blind?" I asked. Sonic chuckled at my question.

"I'm SHADOW! Mephiles's brother! I have ruby red stripes! So when you see either me or Mephiles again, look at the stripes!" I yelled at Silver. Sonic was next to me, laughing his head off.

"Oh ok, Shadow!" said Silver to me, the look on my face stayed annoyed.

"What's with all the yelling? I am TRYING to work over here!" said a yellow Fox.

"Tails! Meet Shadow!" said Sonic pulling me away from staring menacingly at Silver.

"Hello Shadow! My name is Tails the Fox! I am the castles inventor! It's very nice to meet you!" Tails said, hugging me tightly.

"Nice to meet you too..." I said, hesitantly hugging the yellow fox back.

"Do you like to read?"

"Um, yeah I do... I read a lot in my spare time when I in my old owners house."

"Well then, you can always come here and take out as many books as you would like!"

"W-what, really?"

"Sure! After all, I am the librarian plus the inventor." Tails said, crossing his arms.

"...Thank you..." I said quietly.

"OK, TIME TO GO SHADZ! THERE'S A LOT OF CASTLE TO COVER IN SUCH LITTLE TIME!" Sonic said, interrupting what Tails was going to say to me. Sonic then scooped me up in his arms.

"Sonic, waAAAAAAAIIIIIITTTTTTT!"

A/N: Ok so I'm super lazy right now and just want to get to cute part. 😊 Back to the story now!

Sonic kept dashing me around the castle and earned a punch in the arm every time he put me down and introduced me too a lot of people. Knuckles and Blaze are knights and Rouge is the royal fashion designer. Rouge loves to irritate Knuckles and instantly became so called "best friends" with me when she laid her eyes on me.

"Well hun, if you need anything just come to me, okay?"

"Ok, Rouge! Bye!" Sonic said, as Rouge flew away.

"Ugh, when is this tour going to be over? We've have been going around the castle for hours now! How big is this ONE castle?" I said utterly annoyed. I just wanted to sit down and watch a movie or something.

"Heh... This is one BIG castle, but it will be over soon! Just one more place-"

"Just take me there so we can go back to your room." I said, crossing my arms impatiently.

"Oh. Okay then... And Ames says I'm the impatient one." Sonic said picking me up.

"Because you are."

"UGH! WELL, IF I AM SO IMPATIENT, THEN HOW ABOUT I PICK UP THE SPEED!"

"*LE GASP* YOU WOULDN'T DARE-"

"I WOULD DARE!"

"SSSSSSSOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNIIIIIIIIIICCCCCCCC!"
