Prologue

ZECH CHARTREUSE POV

They say, there's a great pleasure to be alone. 'Yong ikaw lang ang dapat mo iligtas sa gitna ng unos at sarili mo lang ang iisipin mo sa gitna ng kaguluhan.

All my life, I spent being alone. I saw different cruelty and crime. Do you expect to be kind when the world keeps betraying you?

I have one rule, If the world hurts you then wrecks the world more than it deserves.

But everything changed when I met her.

"F*ck, Can't you find her?!" I angrily shouted at my friend, Keirron.

He is known for being a professional tracker but why can't he find that woman?!

"Calm down, Zech. We can't resolve another problem if we stay irritated." Kane tried to calm me down.

"I think I saw her, " Keirron interrupted us.

Pinaharap niya ang laptop niya sa amin habang pinapanood ang isang CCTV sa isang cafe na malapit sa mansion nila Boss Nico.

I felt my body shivering. I never been scared in my life. Naramdaman ko ang pagtulo ng aking luha. Kane tapped my shoulder.

"It seems that the world is starting to be kind," Kane shrugged.

Walang pasabi ko sila iniwanan at tinahak ang Cafe kung nasaan ang mag-ina ko.

Ramdam ko ang panginginig sa buo kong katawan at ang pagkasabik na mayakap sila.

Kung kinakailangan na lumuhod ako para lang muling tanggapin ay gagawin ko.

If she's pregnant with my child, I will do everything to make her stay. Kung pwede lang dalhin ko ulit siya sa isla at ikulong muli sa aking mga bisig ay walang pag-aalinlangan ko gagawin. If she's carrying my own child, I will risk everything to have them in my life. I may be monster but I also deserve to be loved.

This monster is craving for her.

Nang makababa ako sa sasakyan ay agad ko nahanap ang babaeng tangi kong mamahalin. The girl who's craving for revenge and I'm willing to be shattered just to have her.

I'm nothing without her.

"Mon amour," I breathed heavily as I saw her walking in front of me.

She can't hide my son from me. Her stomach is getting bigger.

"What are you doing here?" she asked without any emotion in her face and it hurts.

Like I didn't matter. Like she makes me fall so hard for her revenge. Like she never love me that way I do.

"Mon amour, Let's go back to the Island." I tried to smile and touch her hand but she refused.

"At bakit ako sasama sa'yo?" she asked back.

Marahas kong pinaglandas ang aking mga daliri sa aking buhok. I frustratedly faced her.

"Because you're pregnant with my child!"

Once again, I tried to touch her stomach but she angrily snapped my hand.

Her eyes show pure disgust and pain. It breaks me seeing her full of hatred. It hurts more than how the world betrayed me.

"Paano ka nakakasiguro na ikaw ang ama nito? You're funny. Do you think I will let you impregnate me?! Sa tingin mo ba hahayaan ko ang anak ko na magkaroon ng isang ama na isang mamamatay tao? You're imagining things. I let you cum inside of me but it doesn't mean that you're the father of this child!" singhal niya.

My visual is starting to blur. I don't get it! I freaking don't understand!
