November 14th, 1882
I found a place, but it took me a few days as I started getting blisters from my shoes. Luckily I did pack some boots to change into.
I found a river about 2.5 miles from where I am going to settle. That way once I build a little stove I don't have to worry about smoke.
I am up against a ledge at the moment, hoping it will help when winter hits, rainstorms, and the nasty wind we get.
I am going to have to start making my journals longer to be able to fit everything I am going to be doing in a day. If I have the time of course.
I did make a small bow, with around 5 arrows from some hardwood I found near camp. That way hunting is a little easier, I do hope to make a fishing pole or a net next that can be set up and I can keep it there and come back each day.
Goodnight.
