It's only the second week of sophomore year and I'm already being bullied for who I am. It sucks being the only openly gay kid at school. Luckily there is Glee club to look forward to. Rachel, Santana and Brittany are always snickering about others, Quinn and Puck always sticking each other's tongues down their throats, Artie is just a flat out nerd, and Mercedes is a capital D I V A! They are my only friends, the only ones who accept my true self. But there is this one kid, he is new this year to McKinley High School. He is very introverish, he doesn't talk much but, he has this incredible voice. His name is Blaine Anderson. He has an incredible fashion sense, it's almost as if he is gay... I have got to find out.
Mercedes- Hey Kurt!
Kurt- Hey, have you heard
Mercedes- Did Josh and Jennifer finally
Kurt- Yes!, yes they finally are boyfriend and girlfriend!(said with excitement)
Mercedes- OMG! This is the best news ever
Kurt- Lets get together after school to celebrate
We then go together into the cafeteria, and then two footballs come out of the crowded lunch line and throw slushies into our faces
Football Player's- HAHA Gleeotches (high-five each other).
Finally we can see Rachel and Santana sitting at the table and join them.
Rachel- Are you guys alright?
Mercedes- They're just being douchebags
Kurt- Ladies, can I let you in on a secret
Both- What! (said eagerly)
Kurt- You know Blaine...
Both- Yeah (excitedly)
Kurt- Well I really like him, I was wondering if you two could find out if he plays for the same team as I do
Santana- Well, you know I have an amazing gay-dar, the only person it didn't work on was Rachel but who could blame me she went from dressing like a crazy cat lady to a sex goddess
Rachel- Thank you Santana:)
Kurt- Will you be able to find out by the end of the week
All- Of course
Kurt- Thanks:)
I cannot believe they agreed to do this. Especially Santana, she has been acting up lately. She hasn't been talking to Rachel or I. I think there is something going on with her. I think I know what it is. Whenever she looks at Brittany there is this sparkle in her eyes, like she is in love. She should come out of the closet cause I know she will be happier
(Walks up to Santana)
Kurt- Hey, can I talk to you
Santana- Is it about Blaine?
Kurt- No, I wanted to talk about you
Santana- What about me?
Kurt- I was wondering if you and Brittany had a thing for each other
Santana- Well yeah, we are friends
Kurt- No like a lesbian relationship
Santana- ....
Kurt- You should come out of the closet
Santana- I don't want to be bullied like you are, and I am afraid of what others will think of me, I already came out to my family and my abuela didn't accept me.
Kurt- It will be good in the long run
Santana- But how will I handle the pain of bullying
Kurt- Just keep your head up high, and don't let the nasty words get to your head. Just try to be confident
Santana- But they will diminish my confidence
Kurt- They can't diminish the star power confidence you have when your on stage or singing
Santana- Thanks (blushes)
Kurt- I wonder if she will actually follow up with this. I want her to be happy, but I don't want her to be bullied. It would crush my heart if she is bullied and nobody does anything about it, I don't want her to have to go through what I did.
