"Ellie! Did you pack everything for swim practice?"

"Yes Mom." Yup, I', a swimmer. If you think swimming is all about floating in water and doing different arm movements, well, you're wrong.

I've been on the local swim team ever since it started, which was only 5 years ago.

Since I'm a competitive swimmer, I basicly go to practices every single day.

I have my ups and downs with swimming lately. I seem to have more downs than ups.

My mom pushes me to do my best, but sometimes she just plain forces me to do well or else.

For example, last week, I had a swim meet where I did a 100 Freestyle (that's 4 laps) and got a 1:07, 2 seconds gained from my best time. That's still good but, I might have been slacking that event.

What does my mom do? She looks at me and says "What happened?" Luckily, she doesn't stay mad at me for too long.

Now, I'm off to practice. Let's see what happens.

Geez, not my day. I felt like I was going to die. My coach is a nice guy, but man, the sets he gives us sometimes.

I go take my shower and then get ready for bed. It's almost 10:00. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, practices is 7:00-9:00.

Before practice, we do these workout sets called "drylands" cuz to help us swim better.

I finally go to bed, and I realized I have an eyelash on my face.

From what I've heard, if an eyelash falls, you can make a wish.

What do I do? I make a wish, although they never come true.

"Let's see...hmm...I got it! I wish I can escape from this world and go to My Fictional World."

I blow the eyelash off my finger, and I now can get some rest.
