The next day, Zero, Bumblebee, and I got back. Everyone was waiting for us.
"I got a Power Core!" I said, cheerfully.
They were happy to see that I got one already.
"Alright. Which one is next?"
Hwoarang and Buttercup stepped forward. "Next is the Determination Power Core." Hwoarang said.
"Good luck!" Bubbles exclaimed. Everyone except Hwoarang and Buttercup left.
"Okay! Let's find this Power Core!" I exclaimed.
"Hmm. From what I remember, the Power Core was located at the beach, which is south from here." Buttercup stated.
"Is it far?" I ask. The only reason I asked that was because I don't want to have to travel over five miles to get there.
"Nope, it's right over there." Hwoarang said, pointing south.
I look southward to realize that it's not far at all! "Oh thank God!" I whispered under my breath.
Long story short, we get there to realize that a morphed creature stands before us.
"Ew! What the heck is that?" Buttercup asked, with a disgusted look on her face/
I examined the creature closely. "It looks like a crossover of Devil Jin and Mojo." I declared.
"You are correct, creator of this world." Devil Mojo said.
"Well, you're not going to get in our way!" Hwoarang smirked.
"Let's take it down!" Buttercup shouted, pulling out her hammer. Hwoarang gets into his fighting stance.
Almost instantly, Devil Mojo came directly to me, Luckily, I dodged just in time.
"We'll hold him off! Go get the Power Core!" Hwoarang shouted.
This time, I went for it. But, there were some obstacles in the way.
"I can do this. I must get the Determination Power Core." I told myself.
It seems like there was a continuous amount of barrels being thrown down at me.
"This seems oddly familiar." * I thought. I was jumping over those barrels like an Olympic hurdler. with spped and agility on my side. I felt invincible.
I finished jumping over all the barrels to see the Determination Power Core in my grasp.
In the distance, Buttercup and Hwoarang managed to defeat Devil Mojo, and the barrels stopped rolling. They were able to cross over and meet up with me. The Determination Power Core turned into a little green charm on my bracelet.
"You totally deserve that Power Core, Ellie." Buttercup told me. "Yeah, you definitely showed some determination when overcoming that obstacle." Hwoarang added.
"Thanks guys. Man I'm exhausted. Let's go get some rest." I said.
Only 3 more Power Cores remain and I bet ya the bad guys are coming up with some devious plans now.
