Ch. 8

I wake up the next day in my awesome bedroom inside the penthouse. By my desk was a note laying there. It said:

                   Ellie,

   We are at the location of the Leadership Power Core, which is located within this city. Directions are on the back to where we are. It's your job to guide yourself to us, which will help you get the Power Core.

I eat, and got dressed quickly. It's time to get another Power Core.

I never realized how enormous this city was! Tons and tons of buildings and banners were everywhere! "Wow, some of these buildings are where famous good guys live." I thought to myself, looking at a blue building.

Everyone seemed to recognize me easily. They were all waving to me! "Hi Ellie!" Blossom, from Powerpuff Girls Z said.

I waved back to her. "Oh my gosh, Blossom said hi to me!" I thought.

While looking at the directions, I suddenly realized I'm lost. "Oh no. Which way was I supposed to go?"

The directions say 'Then turn left from Hero Street'

I look where I am to see I'm not on Hero Street. "Oh, God, what am I going to do?" Then, it hit me.

"That's it! I'll just retrace my steps and I'll probably find myself at Hero Street! Yes!"

The rest of the journey was easy-peasy. Then I saw Korra and Ryu looking exhausted.

"What happened to you guys?" I ask them.

"Huff, puff...You made it!" Korra gasped.

"Akuma...and Amon were just here, so we...fought them off in order to protect the...Power Core." Ryu said, out of breath.

"Wow, you guys were protecting the Power Core until I got here." I remarked.

"Well, you seemed to manage to find your way here. That totally deserves the Leadership Power Core." Korra said.

I nodded and approached the Power Core. The yellow gem turned into another charm for my charm bracelet.

"Ha, ha. It looks like a stoplight." I thought to myself, looking at my bracelet.

"Only two more remain." Ryu said. "Then, you will be able to stop the bad guys from taking over the world." Korra remarked.

I can't wait until I get all 5 Power Cores!
