Backstory: Shadeblaze was sparked in the golden age of Cybertron in Kaon city which due to how Kaon was, Shadeblaze and her minicon companion, Sonar, would leave Kaon and went to Iacon where she would meet high council member designated Soundwave. Soundwave offered Shadeblaze a job to work as his assistant to which she accepted. Soundwave introduced Shadeblaze to the famous gladiator Megatronus who had shorten his name down to "Megatron". Shadeblaze joined Megatron as a part of his followers for awareness of the lesser class cybertronains which Shadeblaze was once a part of.

Once war was waged on Cybertron, Shadeblaze joined the decepticons along with Soundwave who had quit the council and took a vow of silence. Shadeblaze was assigned to be a scout for the decepticons and worked well with Soundwave during the war. She had her t-cog upgraded so she could take on a third form which was her jet mode. Shadeblaze went to Earth with Soundwave and would fight the autobots until Megatron was defeated.
