Part I: 1. Mr. Mystery

Carmen's POV:

Grass. A beautiful lush of grass surrounded me. I could hear voices, many of them ruining my paradise.

My jet black hair was swaying with the wind, I tucked a lock of it behind my ear. Where am I? I thought. This isn't home.

The voices grew causing me to cover my ears. Loud whispers and silent screams invaded my hearing. Before I knew it, I was being shaken by someone.

"Chemistry's over, no need to drown in sleep. The gang is waiting for us in the cafeteria " Zayn said, his hand resting on my shoulder.

My friend looked at me through his long eyelashes and smiled as I opened my eyes. "Thank God, what did I miss?"

While walking towards the cafeteria Zayn told me the assignment that Sir gave and his crush, Fleur, who caught him staring at her three times.

I always wondered why Zayn was afraid to make a move on Fleur, with his gorgeous looks and artistic skills he could get any girl he wants.

"Oh and there's this new guy in class. All the girls seem to like him, a lot." He said, dodging through the crowd in the busy hallway.

Another hot guy, how come I didn't see him?

The grip on my books tightened as we pushed through the noisy students in front of the cafeteria.

"Why didn't I notice him? Since when has he been in here?" Curiosity was tinting my voice.

Well I couldn't help it since there's a hot guy in class besides from Zayn!

Zayn must have noticed my eager questions cause he smirked.

"Well, if you didn't sleep all the time you could have seen him." He searched the area for our friends. "Also, he sits right across from us. You have a killer view of him."

This is why Zayn is one of my best friends, he cares and supports me.

In the corner of my eye, I spot Geo's scarlet hair. "I found them, come on." I dragged Zayn with me to our table.

Geo, Louis, Liam and Elle were discussing when we joined them and took our seats. Beside me was Louis who had a bunch of food in front of him. Being the nice friend I am, grabbed a whole burger and took a bite.

"Hey! No fair Carmen, you've been taking food from me since last week!" Louis complained, there were cheese on the sides of his lips.

I ruffled his brown hair. "Don't worry, Tommo. I'll pay you back."

Elle, who is Louis' girlfriend wiped the cheese of with a tissue. "He's been eating a lot lately ever since Niall and Lily were together." She said.

Zayn cleared his throat. "Speaking of Niall, where is he?"

Across the table, Geo huffed loudly. Her green eyes held something in them. "He's hooking up with Lily in the music room."

"I'll never set foot in that room again." Liam said, taking a bite of his sandwich.

The table was silent afterwards. Niall and Lily has been together since last month and he's been away from us lately. We miss the leprechaun already. To break the silence, Elle spoke.

"So, have you guys seen the new lad already?" She leaned in, ignoring the intense stare Louis was giving her.

I mentally laughed at Louis' jealousy, we all know Elle isn't interested in any guy but him. But what is so interesting about this new dude. Is he a hot dude with a British accent and deep voice?

Geo grinned like a Cheshire cat and leaned it too. "Yeah! Oh my gosh, he's so handsome. That deep British accent drives me crazy!" She fanned her hands dramatically.

Damn it, he is.

"I don't get the fuss all about him, so what if he has an accent, we have it too!" Louis gestured at himself, Liam and Zayn.

Geo shook her head. "Its not the same if you have piercing green eyes, sharp jaw and curly hair!" She's basically fangirling right now.

I bet this guy who I don't even know is really hot. Duh.

Louis pouted and crosses his arms.

"What's his name?" Getting information about this Mr. Mystery.

"Harry." They both answered. I could see all six eyeballs roll at Geo and Elle.

Harry, it sounds weird to me.

"Carmen Darling, aren't you going to join Harry's fan club?" Liam teased them.

"Nope. I don't know." I honesrly answered.

A chuckle emerged from Zayn's lips. "I guarantee you that you will have a huge crush on him once you see him. He is quite the panty dropper. "

The two girls nodded at his last sentence making Louis roll his eyes again. I squinted my eyes at Zayn. "I have never had a huge crush on anyone since Luke Hemmings."

"That's because he's your ex!" They shouted in unison.

I raised my hands in defense. "Okay, okay. But still, I won't be affected by this Harry." Emphasizing his name.

"Sure you won't." They snickered at me in unison.

After that we went our seperate ways to our next class. I couldn't help but grow more curious at Harry when I heard his name being whispered all around me.
