Ding. The elevator arrived and we stepped inside the metallic box. Our smiles and laughter had subsided as soon as the aura of sickness and medicine hit our senses.

Luke pressed the button of Jack's floor and silently waited. To be honest, the thought of seeing Jack lying on a hospital bed with broken bones in an unconscious state fills me with sadness. It's been years since I last saw him and this is what I stumble upon. The lift stopped and we walked through a maze of corridors.
Luke's long limbs halted in front of a stale door which had the numbers 176 B across it. He shakily opened it and inside the white room was Jack, eyes closed and hair messily tangled in locks. His skin had dark patches scattered all over and the monitor showed his steady heart beat and breathing.

The sight was heart shattering. Luke sat down beside his brother and I stood next to him, tears prickling my eyes. Jack had a mask over his mouth for oxygen, few puffs of air showed that he was breathing.

Carefully placing my hand over Jack's cold one. "Luke, when did the accident happen?"

He sniffled. "Just two nights ago."

"How did this happen?" I'm slowly breaking down.

"There was an argument between Mom and Dad, it was becoming heated so Jack decided to go over Ben's." He inhaled. "On the way, he got hit with a car."

Liz and Andrew must be feeling guilty. "What were they fighting about?"

"Mariagge problems." He tugged at his blonde brown hair.

"What are you saying?"

"The usual stuff like the love isn't there anymore. They don't feel the same about each other."

I nodded. "Oh, I don't know what to tell you, Luke."

I suck at this. I can't even lie to him right now about how Liz and Andrew won't be getting a divorce. I wonder what changed.

I heard Luke take in a sharp breath. "Carr, I still like you."

Why would you say that right now, Luke! Your brother who is in a coma is lying right next to you!

Nope, I couldn't push Luke away. He's too weak right now, he needs someone. I'll tell him about Harry in time but right now I'll be his friend.

"Okay. I just don't like anyone now."

Harry.

"Will there be a chance for us to be together again? I won't be like William, I promise." He pleaded.

"Maybe." Another big ass lie.

Well, Calum is going to kill me. I need to sort this out before I tell Harry.

We spent an hour with Jack, sharing stories and singing some songs. Then afterwards, we left and Luke dropped me off at my house.

My mom was out of town until tomorrow for a meeting so I had the house all by myself. I dramatically sniffed the air in the living room.

"You smell that, Carmen?" I said to myself.

"It smells like there's going to be a party here!"

* * *

After tweeting about my party on Twitter and calling all of my friends to attend, I got everything sorted out. From my party dress to the playlist I'll be playing later on the speakers.

I just finished my make up and hair when Brad from the Vamps sang as my ringtone.

"I talk a lot of shit when I'm drinki-"

Harry was calling me. I felt giddy inside and chilled myself before I calmly answered.

"Hello, Harry."

"Hey, Darling. Am I invited to your party?" He jokingly asked.

"Ofcourse, silly. Unless, you don't want to see me." I pouted even though he couldn't see me.

"Now why wouldn't I wanna see my girl. I'll be there."

My girl. My girl. My girl.

He called meh his girl!! HIS GIRL.

"Wonderful. How was training?" I switched the topic, feeling shy and flustered about being his girl.

I could hear him pacing. "Tiring. Louis skipped training for a double date with Liam and Cathy."

"Yeah, I heard. I want to meet her, she sounds nice."

Harry made a booing sound. "Eh, I'm not looking forward to seeing her."

I put it on loudspeaker so I can put my indigo dress on. It had no sleeves, also it has a dip that displayed my rack playfully and it was knee length.

"That's rude. Why don't you want to meet her?"

"Because I'm not interested on any woman unless it's you." He simply stated.

Pink tinged my cheeks and I had a wide grin. "Harry! You can't say that."

He bellowed. "Why not?"

"Because it makes me shy."

"Why?"

"Hearing you say sweet stuff just gives me that feeling. Like it's unbelievable that you're saying those things to me." I put on my silver heels.

"Don't be shy. Sooner or later I'll be your boyfriend."

He did not.

"Yes I did." As if reading my thoughts.

There were definitely butterflies in my stomach. "Stop it, Styles."

"Just you wait. I'll ask you in the most romantic way ever." He sounded serious which turned me on.

"I'm looking forward to it. Just don't make it cliché." I put on a sour face, I hate cliches.

The sound of car engine on Harry's line was audible. "Sure, I'm on my way now. See you."

"See you too."And the call ended.

Double checking my appearance on my mirror, I looked like I'm ready to dance my night away. Marching down the stairs to get the red cups and food ready, the doorbell rang.

When I opened it, a few guys from my year appeared and they brought two kegs of beer.

"What are those?" Pointing to the kegs.

"They're beer for the whole school." One of them answered.

I let them in and after them followed a group of skimpy dressed girls who I didn't recognize.

My phone vibrated in my hand. I got a text from Zayn saying he'll be here in five minutes and then from Louis.

LOUISx: im bringing the whole football team, kay? tnx Carmen.

Another text from Calum.

HoodCalum: why on earth didn't you push Luke away? Im coming to your party.

This is going to be a long night.
