Falling expeditiously

"Why are you even sleeping in the door?!" I asked.

He chuckled and shooked his head.

"Because I know that you will escape." He confidently said. I saw the couch and his things in there. May makakapal na libro sa tabi ng pintuan. That's our law books.

I glared at him even more.

Inis akong tumalikod at bumalik sa kwarto kasama ang isang bag.

Fuck it.

Kinabukasan ay late akong nagising. Pero naabutan ko pa si Javier na natutulog sa mismong pinto. The comforter is hugging him. May libro din sa lap nya.

"Tss." I hissed and rolled my eyes at him. Dumiretso ako sa kusina para kumain since hapon pa naman ang pasok ko.

I ate alone. Tapos na akong kumain nang pumasok si Javier sa kitchen. He looked at me and roamed his eyes around the place. He shooked his head.

"Hindi man lang ako hinintay..." Bulong nya at dumiretso sa sink para maghilamos at mag toothbrush.

I didn't answer and immediately leave the kitchen. Pumasok na ako sa kwarto ko at nagkulong don. I finished reading the cases before 12. Nag asikaso na ako pagkatapos.

"Yup." I heard Javier's voice the moment I went out.

"You want me to fetch you?" He said again. Hindi ko naman pinapansin at dire diretso lang na lumabas.

"Alright babe, wait for me." He said before I closed the door.

Pinatunog ko ang kotse habang nakapasok sa coat ang isang kamay. I opened the door of my car and was about to enter when I saw him opened the door of his house.

"Papasok kana?" He asked.

"Obvious ba?"

He shooked his head.

"Sasabay ako!" He shouted.

"Edi sumabay ka." I said and entered my car. Mabilis ko iyong pinatakbo bago pa sya makalapit.

Bakit sya sasabay sa kotse ko? I thought he's going to fetch someone?

Nang makarating sa school ay nagulat ako nang naunahan nya pa ako don. Lumiko ako para hindi kami magkasalubong pero hinabol nya pa din ako.

"Sabi ko sasabay ako." Sabi nya sa akin habang naglalakad sa tabi ko.

"Edi sumabay ka nga. Pero hindi sa kotse ko." I rolled my eyes at him before walking to the other way.

Pagkauwi ko sa bahay ay wala pa sya. Naghintay muna ako ng ilang minuto bago kinuha ang bag. I didn't bother to take a shower and just leave. Mabilis kong kinuha ang susi ng kotse ko sa bag na gamit kanina at lumabas. Pero pagkabukas ko palang ng pinto ay nandoon na sya.

He looked shock when he saw me. Pero nakabawi din kaya napangisi sya.

"You can't escape within my watch, Jasmin." Mayabang na sabi nya bago pumasok. He held the hem of my shirt and pulled me with him.

I gritted my teeth because of annoyance. Fuck this.

"Anong gusto mong ulam?" He asked me while he's looking at the fridge.

"I don't want to eat."

Kunot noo syang tumingin sa akin.

"Anong gusto mong ulam?" Paguulit nya kaya napairap ako.

I stared at him while thinking of what I want. He patiently waited though.

I sighed, "I want caramelized tofu with tapioca pearls on top."
