"Are you guys hungry? I will order." Xyrine offered which made all of them nod. They're too busy—well we are too busy to answer.
I don't know how long their friendship are but Xyrine seemed to know what they want to order without them saying a word.
"How about you, Jas? What do you want? Coffee?" she offered. I was about to shake my head when Javier answered.
"Yes, americano and croissant." He said that made my eyes rolled. Pakielamero. Of course he knows what I want, he's been with our family ever since I was born.
When the orders came, all of them set aside their books and started eating and chatting. I don't know if this is a habit everytime they're studying or what.
I like it, it's like a short break after a long hours of studying.
"Sabay na kami ni Sol mamaya pumunta, I'll bring a car so I won't be wasted." Xyrine talked.
"Susunod nalang kami ni Liam, pag lasing na kayo," a guy named Yael said and smirked.
"Ikaw lang naman yung mahina dito teh," Xyrine commented.
"Ah kaya pala sa'kin mo lagi pinapa drive yang kotse mo kada night out? May pasabi sabi—." Yael wasn't able to finish his words because the guy beside him—Liam—stuffed a cookie inside his mouth.
I thought that group study won't be repeated with me joining them but Javier is always dragging me with them.
They're fun, so it's not a problem with me. Nakikita kong seryoso talaga sila sa pagaaral, plus they're helping each other lalo na kapag may isang nahihirapan at hindi nakakasagot sa recit.
There are just times na hindi ako sumasabay sa kanila if they're planning and practicing for their mock trials. Sometimes I watch them but I prefer to watch the actual and live one.
"Are you tired?" Javier softly asked the moment we got home. I silently nodded and went to my room. Nagpahinga lang ako saglit bago naligo at lumabas.
I found him on the kitchen counter, cooking something. Suot suot nya pa din yung jeans na suot nya sa school kanina but this time, wala na syang suot na pangtaas.
His things were in the living room, hindi na ata nakapasok sa kwarto nya at nag diretso na magluto. It's 10 pm already.
I sighed and decided to bring his things on his room, hindi naman 'yon naka lock kaya nakapasok ako agad. I didn't bother to look around and just put his things on the vacant table in the middle.
Hindi pa din sya tapos magluto so I decided to wash the dishes he used. Para kaunti nalang ang huhugasan mamaya.
I saw him stared at me, probably shocked because after a month of being together, this is the first time that I actually did something here.
"Don't look at me like that, " I said while washing the dishes.
I heard him chuckled and continued cooking.
Nang matapos kami sa mga ginagawa ay tahimik kaming kumain. He kept on looking at me but I'm ignoring him. Panigurado ay sa away na naman 'to matatapos.
After we ate, I was about to wash the dishes again when he stopped me.
"Ako na, you can rest or study na." He said.
I rolled my eyes and shrugged. I was about to go to my room already when he called me.
"Are you still planning to leave?" He asked.
He asked it so casually that I think he's cool about it.
"Why did you ask?"
"Because I can't read your mind," he replied.
