1 (Taking a Walk With Friends)

I was at my friend Rhyleigh's house and my friend Haley was there too. Rhyleigh's mom was in the kitchen with her dad. We were in the living room chatting with each other. "What are you going to be for halloween?" Rhyleigh asked me. "Honestly, I don't know." I said. She asked Haley, but Haley didn't know either. "I hope we get lots of candy this year." Haley said. "Hey, I mean, even if we don't get a lot of candy, just go buy a bag of candy from the store." I said.

"Good idea." Rhyleigh said. Rhyleigh's cat came into the room. "Aww. It's so cute." Haley said. "I know. She loves to snuggle and has no problem with new people, so go ahead and pet her. She won't bite." Rhyleigh said. Me and Haley pet her gently, and she rubbed up against us getting her fur on our clothing. "Want to go outside for a walk?" Rhyleigh asked us. "Sure." Me and Haley agreed. "Hey mom! We are going to go outside for a walk!" Rhyleigh yelled over. "Okay! Be back by at least 8:00!" Her mom yelled back.

Rhyleigh,Haley and I went outside. "Nice day out." Haley said. "It is." I responded. "Do you guys have plans this weekend?" Rhyleigh asked. "Not that I know of." I said. "I don't." Haley said. "We could go to this abandoned hospital that I know about on Saturday if you want." Rhyleigh said. "Yeah!" Me and Haley shouted in excitement. "Cool. We could record it and post it on YouTube for it to become famous." Rhyleigh said. "You have a YouTube channel?" I said. "Yeah. Over 2 million subscribers." Rhyleigh responded. "Cool! I was looking forward to becoming a YouTuber when I get older." I said. "I also have a ghost detector,a ghost translator, and an Ouija Board." Rhyleigh said. "That's awesome!" Haley said. "Expensive equipment." Rhyleigh said. "I bet." "Since you're famous, a lot of people will see that video. It will definitely increase your subscribers." I replied. "I'm so excited to see how many people saw it when we record it!" Haley said. "Yeah. It'll be pretty cool. I could add effects to make it scarier." Rhyleigh said. "People will love it."

It started getting dark. "I love walking around at night time. The stars are so pretty, and I like night time better than day time." I said. "Me too." Rhyleigh said. "One time, this was pretty recent actually, me and my aunt went for a midnight walk in her neighborhood. She found this stick on the side of the road, and thought it would be funny to drag it across the ground behind her. It scraped against the road, and I thought it was a little funny too. A few weeks before that, we ran across Old Orchard Beach in the middle of the night for my birthday. It was so fun." I said. "Umm...wow, great story." Rhyleigh said and laughed. Haley laughed with her.

"Have you ever encountered a ghost before?" Haley asked me. "Yeah. I encounter ghosts all the time. They don't mind me, and I don't mind them either." I said. "Nice, I've encountered a ghost many times as well." Rhyleigh said. "I don't fear ghosts, because they are just energy and they can't hurt you." I said. "Same." Haley said. "It's 6:00 now. Let's walk for another hour then go back." Rhyleigh said. "Alright." I said. "If you were to have a YouTube channel, what would its name be?" Rhyleigh asked. "ILoveWolves." I answered. "Wow. Okay." Rhyleigh replied.

It was finally night time and we could see stars. It was also a full moon. "Look, the moon is so pretty." I said. "Yeah. It is." Rhyleigh agreed. "Didn't you know there was supposed to be a full moon this halloween?" Haley said. "I knew that." Rhyleigh said. It was 7:00, so we started heading back to Rhyleigh's house so that we could get there on time.

We got back to her house at 8:00. "I have to go back home now. It's late." I said. "I also have to go back home." Haley said. "Okay, bye, see you tomorrow." Rhyleigh responded. I walked back home. My dad was out in the kitchen. "I'm back home!" I shouted out. I walked into the kitchen. "It's late." My dad said. "I know. We had a long walk." "Did you have fun?" My dad questioned. "Yes." I replied. "She wants to see me again tomorrow." "Okay then." My dad responded.
