It's your first day at Collins port. Elizabeth has employed you to help teach David, and work along side his psychiatrist Dr. Hoffman. She will continue her work but you will be able to help David with his education and life skills etc.
As your sat in the taxi, clutching your handbag on the seat beside you, you think about how your life is going to look for the next few years. Elizabeth said to you that, if you really were as good a teacher as everyone back home claimed, you would be staying with the Collins family until David turned 18. By that time he will be a man, and you will no longer have to teach him. Education was very important to Elizabeth, as was it to you, so you admired her for that.
Finally after what felt like eternity on a long road with trees surrounding you, you finally arrive at Collinwood Manor. Looking out of the taxi window, your eyes gaze upon an extremely large gate. It almost looks hellish. The black bars of the gate slowly started to move, opening up for you to go through. The driver pulls up to the house and you hand him some money, and gather your things, stepping out of the car. It is a lot bigger than you thought, the house is also a lot more, shall we say run down than you thought. It's rustic and slightly creepy appearance made you hesitant to approach the door, you stood there for a moment, hearing the taxi drive off into the distance, taking it all in.
"Well aren't you a pretty one?" You hear a raspy, warm voice say from behind you. Startled you dropped your handbag and your head turned with a quick sharp motion to a woman. She was the most stunning woman you had ever seen. Her hair was bright orange and her eyes deep brown. You just stood, your mouth gaping open, in awe of her presence. She slowly stood up, taking a drag of her cigarette, walking over to you, "you know it's rude to stare love." She said, blowing a cloud of smoke out into the space between you. "I- um, hi sorry. My name is uh, y/n." You could feel your cheeks blazing, they were obviously bright red by this point. The older woman noticed, smirking at your shyness. "Yes, very pretty indeed." She said, taking a lock of your hair in her hand, twisting it around her fingers, before letting it drop to your shoulder again. "Y/n" she said your name in a low hushed voice, hearing her say your name made your knees weak, you felt as though you could fall at any moment. Her dominance consumed every inch of you, and all she had to do was look at you.
"Y/n! Finally your here, we have been awaiting your arrival." You hear a voice come from the Manor so you quickly look away from the older woman to see Elizabeth smiling pleasantly to greet you. "And I see you have already met Dr, Hoffman." She said, giving a slight side eye to the woman which she just seemed to ignore. "Please do come in." She says, walking away leaving you to follow her. You crouch down to pick up your hand bag, but when you look up the older woman is looking down on you, her eyes fixated on your face. "I do love the sight of you beneath me." She says in a raspy voice, smirking at you once more. You feel your heart flutter in your chest, and you quickly stand up. Even standing up you are still about an inch shorter than Dr. Hoffman, she was above you in every way.
You just stood there, looking at her, looking at you, not knowing what to say. The tension was building more and more, you felt the heat in your body rise, and your breaths became short and shallow. "I'll see you later, y/n." The woman finally spoke braking the silence. She turned away from you and walked into the Manor, and you let out a quick sharp sigh of relief. You might not have lasted any longer had she not gone inside. Scrambling to collect the rest of your bags you quickly made your way inside and to your room. Elizabeth showed you around, and introduced you to everyone, but you still hadn't seen Dr. Hoffman since your strangely intense encounter this morning.
Later that evening you all sat around the table for dinner, the older woman was yet to join you, so you quietly raised the question, "Where is Dr. Hoffman?" You looked at Elizabeth, awaiting her response. "She sometimes doesn't join us for dinner, I assume she is in her office working." She said, giving you a kind smile, returning to her conversation at the end of the table. You smiled back, slightly disappointed you wouldn't see Dr. Hoffman again tonight, but continued your meal, making conversation with David to try and get to know him better. He seems to like you so far, which is a good start.
After dinner everyone went to their rooms, including you. You wanted to unpack and get settled before you went to bed. You couldn't sleep anyway, you were never good at sleeping. Always restless and anxious, so this gave you something to do. Frantically unpacking your worries away, you find yourself surrounded by piles of clothes and mountains of your possessions. You were beginning to get overwhelmed and a little frustrated, so you left your room to go for a walk through the halls, to take a breather.
Playing with the sleeve of your jumper you slowly walk through the dark halls, letting the quiet surround you. Suddenly you feel a hand wrap around your waist and quickly press your body into the wall. Holy fuck.
HIII- so uh yeah. I hope you like the first parttt. Let's ignore the fact that I am utterly hopeless at writing, but I haven't seen enough Julia fanfics on here so I am here to fix that. I hope you enjoy the rest of it, you are in for a treat!!....
