Roseanne rushed into the school in her high heels, her bag slipping of her shoulder every step she took - it had only been two weeks since Lucy started pre-school and Dara had called her in for a meeting. Of course she had lost track of time and was late, her ex-wife was gonna hold that against her.

"I'm here, I'm here" Roseanne reached the principals office and Dara and Lisa looked at her annoyed.

"You're fifteen minutes late..." Lisa was angry as she expected and inspected the blonde. "Did it cross your mind to leave the office a bit earlier?"

"I'm sorry but who has a meeting at two o'clock?" Roseanne looked at Dara confused, most people worked at that time during the day. "I was stuck in a meeting" She explained.

"It's about your daughter, does it matter what time?" Dara wondered.

"Just sit down" Lisa pointed at the chair next to her.

"Is Lucy okay?" Roseanne was still stressed and was breathing heavy. "Is she hurt? Where is she?"

"Calm down, she's not hurt - there was an incidence with another kid" Dara hushed her.

"What happened?" Roseanne wondered and looked at Lisa.

"I don't know, we've been waiting for you" The brunette eyed her and Roseanne ignored the comment like did she really have to mention that again? She knew she was late and she hated herself for it - it made it seem like she didn't care as much as her ex-wife but of course she did. Her kids meant everything to her.

"Lucy called another girl a bitch" Dara informed them and looked down at her notes.

"Wait what?" Roseanne was surprised.

"Why?" Lisa was shocked as well.

"Well...She thought it was a nice word and tried to make friends. Apparently it's something she learned from home" Dara continued. "We're not angry with her since it's obvious a problem with the parents in this case"

"What do you mean?" Roseanne didn't follow.

"Lucy explained herself saying that she thought it was a nice word and I quote, that's what mom calls mommie I thought it was something good" Dara sighed.

"That's what you call me around her?" Roseanne got upset quickly, like what the fuck?

"I never say that around her" Lisa sat straighter. "She must have overheard me"

"How about you don't talk that way about me at all?" Roseanne crossed her arms. "I'm Lucy's mom and you should have some respect for me"

"Like you respect me?" Lisa chuckled. "I'll talk to her Dara, I'm sorry about this"

"Wait I am not done..." Dara waited for them to focus on her again. "I am very disappointed in both you but..." She looked at them serious "There is a field trip coming up and we need parents to volunteer"

"Sure, I'll do it" Lisa nodded, that wasn't such a big deal to her. "I know she won't" She pointed at Roseanne.

"Both of you will" Dara looked at Roseanne.

"Come on don't do this" Roseanne wined. "I can take the next field trip but don't force us to spend the weekend together" She was obviously talking about Lisa.

"You don't need to use your games around us, we can solve our shit" Lisa talked to Dara like her friend now, they had known each other for years - well Dara was actually the one to introduce the two of them to each other many years ago.

"Both of you will attend, next weekend - it's two days - and you need to agree on a activity for the kids" Dara was firm.

"Come on, I have a business trip that weekend" Roseanne looked at her calendar in her phone.
