"Do you think we should do some painting in here? I think a darker color would fit this room" Irene studied the walls in their bedroom and Lisa looked around, it looked great to her.

"What's wrong with the walls?" She wondered.

"It just...screams Roseanne...This whole house screams her" Irene started to touch the walls and Lisa looked at her. She didn't wanna make any changes with the house, in fact she secretly liked it being made by her ex-wife, she thought it could make the kids feel safer - knowing she's here but not really here.

"Well, she did design it" Lisa reminded her.

"She also gave it to you...I don't think she would mind if we made some changes?" Irene kept going.

"It doesn't need remodeling" Lisa shook her head, that was the last thing she needed to think about right now.

"I know it doesn't need it but...wouldn't it be nice to make it more...us?" Irene looked at her now, it was Roseanne's week with the kids and they spent the weekend getting some cleaning and laundry done. It wasn't more exiting than that.

"It's just a house" Lisa smiled at her. "And now that...Roseanne might be moving...I don't think we should change to much around here, I want a safe spot for the kids"

"So she's really leaving?" Irene wondered.

"She wants to..." Lisa took a deep breath. "I don't know how to stop her"

"Do you wanna stop her?" Irene stepped a little bit closer. "Maybe this is good for us, for her too"
"I'm thinking about the kids"

"Are you sure that's it?"

"What do you mean?" Lisa eyed her.

"If she moves away we might not have anything to talk about anymore, since you constantly wining about her"

"That's not true?" Lisa shrugged, sure she brought her up sometimes - but it was far from always.

"It's okay... " Irene wrapped her arms about Lisa. "I know that you shared a life together...and I know that you can't just forget about that but...sometimes it feels like you're always looking back instead of looking at our future"

"Hey" Lisa pulled the girls into her arms. "I am excited about our future and maybe you're right...Roseanne moving could be good...so that we can focus on us" Lisa hadn't mentioned Roseanne's sudden outburst of confessing her feelings, it didn't feel necessary - Irene was already insecure as it was - knowing she had kids with another woman that she spent a decade with.

"I just miss you, it feels like you been so distant lately" Irene looked at her with a pouty face.

"Things will get better" Lisa kissed her gently.

"Hey buddy!" Josh looked at the little boy, he wondered if he had grown some inches since he last saw him.

"Hi!" Levi high-fives him with a huge smile.

"Have fun guys!" Roseanne waved them goodbye from her car, she was going to the mall with Lucy.

"So how are you?" Josh bounced ball in his hands.

"I'm good" Levi told him as he dropped his backpack on the ground to pick out his ball.

"You're doing okay in school?" Josh threw a ball but missed the casket.

"Mom never misses" Levi laughed at him.

"Lisa is good, isn't she?"

"She's the best" Levi smirked and dribbled the ball between his legs. "She thought me this"
