You woke up to the rain drops that tapped the window drop by drop they raced down the glass window that looked out to a stretched land, perfect view of a forest, often you saw deer that would prance through the shared backyard of both humans and animals. As you looked out the window before going to get up fully, you saw the sky was a perfect grey, thunder struck shooting from the swirling clouds you excitedly smiled and turned to see your boyfriend still sound asleep, how he slept through anything you didn't know but that never mattered to you.

"Baaaaaby~" You purred in a soft tone crawling to his side of the bed laying on his chest as his limbs sprawled out across the bed.

The moment your thick body touched his chest, his arms wrapped around you as he slowly smiled waking up, his eyes fluttered open to see you starring right back at him "well good morning " Knuckles' sleepy voice always got to you so instead of your normal wake up routine with him you decided to kiss him passionately since after all he was in a good mood. Knuckles was never happy to wake up but his gruppy demeanor would go away soon after eating.

"Morning ~" Your tone stayed the same soft and soothing as the kisses moved to his neck down to his collar bone, his hands rested atop of your hips keeping you in place. The kisses were warm and comforting. "Did you sleep well my king?! " You leaned away from him looking into his beautiful purple eyes.

" Mmhm as long as your next to me I'll always sleep well.... But enough about me did my beautiful queen sleep well? " His hand rested underneath your chin slowly bringing you closer to his face. He grabbed your cute chubby cheeks and kissed them, caressing his thumb back and forth on the skin making you smile and giggle.

" I usually do but I did wake up once or twice for the bathroom" Your face heated up as your faces inched closer and closer, his thumb pulling your pink bottom lip down letting go slightly making you both smile as your lips connected closing that distance in between each other.

"AHH! " You shot your head up to the window when the lightning struck once more breaking the kiss.

"It's just thunder my little emerald" He laughed using his normal self to calm you back down. He moved your black braids behind your ear to see your eyes once again.

" I know.... Hold me?! " You made puppy eyes at him pouting your bottom lip, but he just got up with you still clung to his toned chest resting your head on his shoulder. "What are you doing? "

"Brushing my teeth " He took his red and white tooth brush wetting it a bit under the cold water, adding toothpaste, wetting it once more and started to brush his teeth holding you up still by his left hand under your ass as the right continued to brush his teeth. Then he stopped held the brush in his mouth and quickly made yours handing it to you over his shoulder

Taking the brush you thanked him with a small kiss on his neck then started to brush your teeth next, you stayed clung to him until you needed to wash your mouth out extending a leg down your bare feet hit the cold tile floor making you shiver. "I hate that " You wined but he just snickered looking down at your shorter stature.

"Okay now breakfast "You ran down the stairs him following you but walking with his hands in his pockets of the flannel pants he wore to sleep with never a top to match.

"Slow down you might fall" He teased you in a loving manner taking the eggs, bacon, and potatoes out. After all he was a better cook than you so his meals were always perfect and had a good display to go along with it.

The scents of his cooking filled the house. After around 30 minutes he called your name " (Y/n) breakfast is ready " You walked into the kitchen taking the plate that was clearly his just to irritate him. "Th-thats mine " You started at him eating a piece of bacon which as always was cooked perfectly to your liking.
