It's the last rodeo before school starts, and my first rodeo. Or- well, second. But first hopefully-not-a-failure rodeo. Of course, Austin never stopped. But, I needed some extra time to get my confidence back up. Buck and Jack are here too, in top top shape. In it to win it.

Me and Austin switch on who get's to warm up Flash at every show. While Jack and Buck ride their respective horses. This time it's my turn, even if Austin is before me.

Jack and Buck already went. Buck in first, Jack in second currently. Another just barely. But, this child prodigy trio is about to turn into a quaret when I beat their asses. Jack and Buck go back to their trailer to let Bunny and Zeus cool off while a few of the girls run. Once their horses are ready to sit at the trailer, Buck and Jack rush to the stands to watch.

Austin rushes over to get his horse. He gives me a kiss on the cheek before getting on Flash and trotting off. I rush after him to record right as the last girl before him rushes out.

"Gone in a Flash back at it again with Austin Turner, let's see if this duo can beat Buck!"

I spot Avery in the stands talking to our two other friends, right before bringing my focus to the legend himself, who just so happens to be my boyfriend. Austin makes a good first, a great second, and an even better third before galloping home on his fifteen hand gelding.

"Woah! Deceivingly fast! That's gonna put him in third with a great time of fifteen point zero zero and another zero! We're having a great night tonight for the three child prodigies, let's see if we'll make it into four. We have Blaze Baxter here also riding Gone in a Flash, this'll be his second ever rodeo. His first one I heard was real nice until he slipped around third. Let's see if they can keep everything - and themselves up this time. Let's hear it for this duo, send them in! The last run of the night!"

Austin cheers as I enter the ring slow and calm, my heart rate speeds up, my hat feeling like it's suffocating me. The audience watches in anticipation. I let him fly, pushing him into first. It's not good to get nervous at a time like this, I have to show Austin how high I can fly. First is tight, so is second. Second is so tight I lift my leg all the way around it.

I race to third, my eyes squinting as I keep focus. DO NOT LEAN. I feel like everything's in slow motion as I lift my rein around it, another tight turn. Everything stays up, even us, as I kick him home. All the way. Austin jumps in the air, clearly just as excited as me.

"Oh my Lord, let me check the books! The record has just been tied! Austin's original record here of fourteen point eleven here has just been tied by his boyfriend Blaze Baxter! This kid is going places. Our prodigy trio has just gone up to four!"

My eyes go wide, as I hop off Flash and loosen his chinch. My mouth remains agape and I struggle to figure out what to do.

"I'm so proud of you!" Austin shouts, hugging me from behind.

"Are you sure this isn't a dream?" I pant.

He kisses me on the cheek, "Does that prove anything?"

I blush, "I suppose it does."

"Come on," He hops on Flash's back, helping me onto his rump as I wrap my hands around Austin's waist. We walk Flash around the arena, and soon enough Buck and Jack are following with their horses.

Soon Avery's catching up on the ground and we pull our horses to a woah. "That-" She pants, holding her knees, "Was amazing! You're amazing! Everyone is amazing!"

"Thank you Avery," I tell her with a laugh. "We gotta cool these guys down, drive me home?"

"Of course!" She trots over to her car to wait for me.

"Do you care?" I ask.

"I can take care of Flash, give me a few more minutes with you though," He tells me.
