"Yo! I didn't know you guys were friends!" A student says, coming in the room as me and Austin sit beside each other. Avery on the other side of Austin and Buck and Jack sitting within the group. Our first day of the new school year.
"Oh yeah, great friends!" Jack says with a smile, draping an arm over Buck's shoulders.
Austin follows, draping an arm over mine with a frown. While Avery is left single.
"That's so cool! Don't you two ride horses?" The kid asks.
"Yeah, we do," Buck says.
"So do we!" I say, raising my hand. Austin reluctantly follows.
"Wow, I didn't know that! That's awesome!"
Brrrrriiinnnggg!
"You'll have to tell us all about your riding! That's cool! Well, see ya guys!"
"Bye!~" Avery waves, and me and the others follow.
"Welcome class! I'm Mr. Nye, I will be teaching chemistry this year! I am very excited to meet you all-" The teacher, Mr. Nye, continues to introduce himself.
"Hey, Blaze?"
"Hm?"
"Wanna come work with Flash after school?"
"Yeah! Can I?"
"Of course!"
He continues to drape his arm over me, as the teacher also continues class. But I struggle to focus, my mind wandering to Austin and Flash. How much I love both of them. One romantically, and one a best friend.
