Tina and Yaz were on their way to the restaurant where they were going to get lunch with the rest of the main cast. They both had a tote bag each slung over their shoulder. Yaz had lent Tina one of her totes since everyone were planning on going shopping together after lunch, and Tina's backpack wasn't very practical because it was quite big. They had agreed that Tina could just get her backpack at Yaz's after they had finished shopping.

When they arrived at the restaurant, everyone were already there, except Kit. They all smiled and waved at Tina and Yaz as they walked in.

They were sitting around a big rectangular table and there were three empty chairs left. Two of the chairs were next to each other, while the third was opposite the two others on the other side of the table.

Yaz sat down on the third chair, next to Kizzy and Will, so Tina sat down on one of the two empty chairs and realized that she would inevitably have to sit next to Kit once he arrived. Joe was on her right and the empty chair was on her left, on the other side of the empty chair sat Corinna.

On the short ends of the table sat Sebastian and Tobie. Everyone greeted Yaz and Tina as they sat down and quickly moved on to casual small talk. Tina was relived, because they were all so nice and she had definitely been overthinking this when she was FaceTiming Ethan earlier that morning.

There was one thought swimming around in her mind the whole time though, 'where is Kit?'. As if she had read her mind, Corinna said, "Kit's running a bit late, but he's on his way." Tina nodded while saying "alright". "We thought we should wait to order until he arrives." Said Joe. Everyone voiced their agreements and the conversations continued.

Tina was getting more comfortable by the second, and after a few minutes she and the others were laughing along to a story Kizzy was telling.

Yaz was in the middle of telling them about a guy in a chicken costume she saw on the tube the other day, when the bell at the top of the restaurant door dinged, signaling that someone had just walked in.

Tina looked up, and there he was. Kit Connor in all his glory. He was wearing a casual navy blue button up and a pair of black jeans.

He spotted them immediately and walked towards the table with and apologetic smile on his face. "Sorry guys," he said as he sat down next to Tina, "I couldn't find the keys to my flat when I was about to leave so I had to look for them."

Kit turned to Tina and stretched his hand out towards her, wanting to shake her hand. "Nice to meet you, Tina." He said. He was looking straight into her eyes and the words were stuck in her throat for a moment. Accepted the hand shake and replied, "It's nice to meet you too." She tried to compose herself.

His eyes didn't leave hers and after a few moments she realized that he was still holding her hand in a soft grip. All the others had gone completely silent and just starred at the two.

Tobie was the first to break the silence, "Gosh Kit, let go of her hand!" He said it in a playful manner, but Kit immediately dropped her hand and muttered a quick apology before trying to change the subject by saying, "uh..I'm starving, I reckon we should order now." Sebastian snorted and everyone shared knowing glances, but they all accepted the subject change and picked up the menu's.
