Solving Riddle (Harry Potter Fan Fic)

10. RAE

Oh the valent chapter ten... its amazing how far I've gotten. I'm about 1/3 of the way through now. Well, enjoy this chapter.

"Ruth, quit your nonsense. Of course I'm a pure blood," Riddle sneered at me, narrowing his eyes and relaxing his jaw a bit.

"Of course you are. How silly of me! Little joke sir, on to the fight?" I smiled sheepishly at him, in return he gave me a nasty smile and replied, "after you,"

"We have to give it our a game. They are mad... but so are we! Let's go!" all of the boys let out loud war cries but Cassy and I both stayed silent, for different reasons but still.

"You're going down, got it?" Riddle offered his hand to shake, I took it with my finger tips and shook lightly.

"Oh you wish, Riddle," he rolled his eyes and turned to go back to his side.

The other team lost miserably, gaining a disapproving glare from Riddle. I got dog piled in the snow by my whole team, Leo and Lucas kissed my cheek and lifted me off the ground. "Looooossssssseeeeeerrrrrrr!!!!!!" Potter, Diggory ,and Julding all screamed at the losers. But Cassy was still quiet, she smiled whenever we cheered.

"Evans, come," I swallowed and followed him back inside the castle. He led me to a girls restroom on the first floor, he pushed me inside and all the way to the sinks, speaking a strange language to the first sink. Just like in a dream of mine, the sinks rearranged until there was a hole in the center.

"That's why the tap doesn't work on that sink!" I gasped.

"Quiet!" unfortonatley, I knew what was happening next and I dreaded the thought of it. Tom attempted to push me into the hole.

"You're trying to kill me! What's wrong with you?" I dodged his arms and pulled out my wand, pointing it at him.

"Oh come now, why would I kill you?" he sneered and grabbed my arm quickly pushing me into the hole. My stomach rose to my throat and began to twist and turn as I fell further and further below the school until I hit the ground. I'm alive, I just survived a fall that seemed to be miles long, and I'm not in pain.

I began to get onto my knees until Tom came tumbling onto me. "Oof! Thanks, I love being crushed by arrogant jerks, cozy down here," everything I said was sarcastic, I did not enjoy being crushed by arrogant jerks and neither was it cozy. The place was dark, damp, and absolutely freezing.

"Who do you think you are? Defiling the Dark Lord in such a manner? Exposing his blood status to his followers? Making them disrespect him? I could kill you!" his eyes glowed with anger and his scowl deepened.

"The Dark Lord?" my voice squeaked timidly, he chuckled darkly and raised his wand at me, "expelliarmus!" his wand flew into my hand and I ran off into another tunnel with it, hiding from him. Suddenly, I flew out of the tunnel and hit the ground hard.

"Don't you ever!"

"Ever what? Defend myself against a psychopath? OH GOD FORBID-" he kicked me in the jaw and took his wand back, stroking it affectionately.

"Bad girls need punishing, Ruth. I think I have the perfect punishment for you. Crucio," a sharp, agonizing pain seared through my body, burning every inch. The pain I endured was incomprehendible, so painful no one could ever imagine it. I couldn't find my voice to scream, my mouth was open, ready for a scream but I couldn't hear it. Finally, the pain stopped. My breathing was heavy and my heart beat at an abnormally fast pace. "Bitch, I think I'll leave a scar for you to remember this,"

He grabbed my wrist and pulled me to him with it, he did speak while he did it to me, just wtched my forearm intently as the words were caved into the pale surface. I pulled back, trying to pull away, twisting my body in different directions, yanking on my arm. But his grip was too strong, I eventually gave up and submitted to his torture and tears streamed down my cheeks and my breathing became blocked and hiccupped, almost like hyperventilating.
