|Sonknux| Another day

Part 6: Conflict

Sonic woke up to Tails, Amy, and Sticks staring at him and Knuckles. "What are you guys doing here..?" Sonic said In a low tone
"Ew, Sonic what is wrong with you?!" Amy said hatefully" "I can't believe youre dating Knuckles?! Sonic, you have to stop this isn't you." Tails says
"Dating Knuckles? I'm not dating Knuckles?"
"Oh yeah? then why are you guys cuddling, and getting all close to each other then? Huh? HUH?" Amy shouted "Okok jeez, guys calm down. I'm not dating him, he just wanted some company." Sonic says as he gets out of bed.
"What are you guys even doing here anyways?" .. "Well, Sonic. We just came here to say...Eggman is retiring." Amy says

.           "WHAT?!" Sonic shouted
Knuckles woke up to Sonics yelling. "What happened?" Knuckles said in a grumpy voice. "Knuckles, so.. Eggman retired." Amy said to him. .. "He did? So..whats the purpose of us then?" .. "I don't know, but I hope this is some cruel joke." Sonic said
"It's not a joke! His place is empty, there's no robots to be seen, and, that would make sense considering he hasn't been fighting lately." Amy said "Maybe he finally gave up on his crappy work." Tails added
Everyone started laughing
"But Sonic, we came here for another thing." Sticks said
"Yeah? what is it?"

"We need you to get off the island." Sticks said
"What?! No! I can't just leave? why?"
"Sonic..you've been nothing but trouble for the last few days. Youve only been hanging out with Knuckles! You haven't even had some time for us, or even a minute! Tails said
"Ok..I'm sorry I didn't realize it sooner. I'm sorry guys. I'll hang out with you guys more." ..

Sonic was confused why they wanted to kick him off the island. I mean, they could have just told him that he needed to spend some time with them more.

Sonic was basically avoiding Knuckles and hanging out with the others. Knuckles usually needs Sonics help for some things, and having no Sonic around him for awhile makes it harder. Knuckles was gonna talk to Sonic when Sonic just turned away. Sonic was losing all his feelings. Just as he wanted. Knuckles was still in love with him and was confused. Until this one day.

"Hey, Sonic?" Knuckles said. Sonic turned around and said, "Yeah? what is it?" "Why have you been avoiding me.. or not spending time with me as much anymore?"
"Knuckles, I have my own life. AND my own friends. I'm not gonna hang out with you 24/7." ..Hearing Sonic call him "Knuckles" hurt him. "Fine! I don't even need your company." ..That made Sonic get angry. "Well yeah? Who's company do you have? Your imaginary friend?" .."JUST SHUT UP!" Knuckles said as he slapped Sonic. Knuckles slaps were really powerful, so it knocked him to the ground. .

Sonics other friends noticed him on the ground. "Sonic!!" Amy shouted. All his other friends came running. "You monster!" Amy said. "After everything he's done for you?" Tails said while he flipped Sonic over. "Come on Sonic wake up .." Sonic had a big slap mark on his face. Knuckles just stood there in shock after he realized what he did to him. Sonic had some blood pouring out of his mouth. As soon as Knuckles saw that he got his stuff and ran off. "I'm so sorry Sonic. I never meant to do this." There was tears forming in his eyes as he ran off. He thought of all the things Sonic did for him, and for him to slap him like that, just wasn't right.

Knuckles finally stopped running when he saw something fast and blue in the distance. He was sitting in this trashy valley that was really dark. It had Rats, bugs, and everything gross. He was sitting down on a trash can when he saw the blue thing speeding in the distance. "Knux!!" Something shouted
"I know that voice from anywhere.." Knuckles said softly to himself. It was Sonic.
He came up fast and hugged Knuckles. "I can't believe you ran off like that." Sonic said. "I'm sorry I wasn't spending any time with you, and avoiding you Knux. It's just that.. i-" Sonic was about to confess when Knuckles was crying on his shoulder

"Hey.. it's okay." Sonic said while rubbing Knuckles back. " *Sniff* I'm sorry for slapping you. After everything you did for me.." Knuckles put his head up and They both stared at each other's eyes for awhile.
They both leaned in for a kiss. Knuckles lips touched Sonics lips. The next thing you know, they were swirling their tounges in each other's mouth. They didn't have one break for air. Knuckles grabbed Sonics waist and kissed more. They finally got a some air. 

On the way back it was kinda awkward, but they were holding hands the whole way.
