|Sonknux| Another day

Part 7

Sonic was still thinking about last night. It was the morning and the red echidna decided to sleep next to him again. Now he was spooning Sonic. Sonic was already awake, but didn't want to disturb Knuckles by getting up. They weren't in a relationship yet, but they were pretty close. Sonic turned to Knuckles face staring at him for awhile. Knuckles eventually opened his eyes and noticed Sonic staring at him. "Morning sleepyhead" Sonic said while he was about to get up. Knuckles wrapped his arm around his waist pulling him back on the bed. "Just a few more minutes.." He said mumbled

After a few minutes Knuckles finally pulled his arm towards himself making it so Sonic can get up. Sonic got up and put on his slippers. He asked him if he wanted any breakfast. "Sure" Knuckles replied
After he was done making breakfast, Knuckles got up and sat at the table. Knuckles was still half asleep because he just woke up. He was closing his eyes for a long time at some points. He was slowly eating but was really enjoying it. Sonic was a good cook.

Sonic told Knuckles, "You don't have to eat it right now. You can go to bed for a little longer." Knuckles felt bad and tried eating it all before throwing it away. "Sorry, I don't know what's up with me today." Knuckles said. Sonic finally realized that he was up before Knuckles. "Do you feel sick still?" Sonic asked in a concerned tone
"No, no. I'm just tired that's all. I took some melatonin last night and I'm-" He said before he fell asleep.
'How much melatonin did he take for him to be like that?' Sonic thought to himself. 'Let me see-' Sonic saw a whole container of melatonin gummies almost gone. There was a quarter of it left on the counter. "Oh Knux.." Sonic said as he slapped his hand on his face

Sonic walked outside to see Amy and Sticks having a picnic, and Tails cleaning up his work. Amy and Sticks were holding hands and that surprised Sonic. As soon as he walked over to them, they let go of their hands. "Whatcha guys doing?" Sonic asked
"Oh, um nothing! just a picnic. As good friends! Haha." Amy replied
"Yep. Just the usual." Sticks says
"Ok, we you ladies have a nice picnic." Sonic said as he walked over to the loungeing chairs. Sonic sat on one of them. "Its a hot day isnt it?" Someone behind Sonic said.
Sonic caught off gaurd, he turned around to see a black hedgehog with red stripes in his hair. Before Sonic could talk, the mysterious hedgehog wrapped his hand around his neck and said, "If you ever, and i mean EVER, try to interfer with my friends again, then this be the death of you." Sonic had no idea what he meant, but he couldnt breath due to suffication.

The hedgehog finally let go and disappeared leaving Sonic shocked. Tails saw sonic breathing heavily and ran over to him to see whats wrong. "Sonic! Are you okay? I saw you breathing pretty hard back there.." Tails said worried. "Im- okay.. i just need a bit to- breath." Sonic said while trying to catch breaths. Well, it didnt last long until Sonic stopped breathing so hard. He got up with Tails help. "Thanks pal." Sonic said
"Anytime!" Tails replied.

it was 2:00pm and Knuckles finally woke up.
He thought to himself, 'Why am i up this late? ughh.. my back hurts..' Then he realized how much melatonin he took. 'Dumbass.' He thought.

Sonic and the others finally saw him awake. Sonic came to greet him, but Knuckles just rested his head on his shoulder while hugging him. "Um, Knux?".."mmm.." Knuckles mumbled. "You still tired from all that melatonin?" Sonic said as he chuckled
Knuckles was a little embarrassed, but to his concern he said, "Yes." Sonic lifted the echindas head up while letting go of the hug. "You can go wake up over there. The sun is shining bright over there." Sonic said

"Come with me?" Knuckles asked as he stopped walking. "Yeah sure!" Sonic said while catching up to Knuckles. They both sat down by the water where the sun was shining down on. Sonic looked over to Knuckles and realized how handsome he is. He was staring at him for awhile, until Knuckles turned to him and said, "You need something?" Sonic quickly looked back having a flustered look on his face. Knuckles kept staring and brushed back Sonics quills.
"Hey what are you?-" Sonic said as he began to purr. "Thats new." Knuckles said as his hands let go of his quills. Sonic was even more red then before. Knuckles looked back at Sonic seeing how red he was. "Its okay, i dont mind." Knuckles said making Sonic comfy.

15 Minutes passed by and sonic was getting tired already. He was trying to keep his head balanced. Knuckles noticed and softly put his hand on the other side of the hedgehogs face, and pulled him to his chest. Sonic finally relaxed and was brushing his hand up and down on Knuckles chest. Knuckles was blushing, but he quite liked it. Knuckles finally grabbed Sonics hand to make him stop, and by the time you know it, Sonic was passed out. By that time it was 5:09pm and they've spent most of their day just relaxing in the sun. Knuckles picked Sonic up bridal style, and walked the blue blur to his house.
He sat Sonic on his bed and brushed his hand on his cheek gently. "I love you." Knuckles said sadly.
