|Sonknux| Another day

Part 8, swimming

Sonic woke up from his long sleep. He remembered how Knuckles carried him to his bed and gently said, 'I love you.'
Sonic covered himself with the blankets because he was so flustered.
He got up and got some coffee.
He saw that his friends were talking about a party tonight. Sonic looked by his 'invisible' door and there was a letter. 'It must be what they're talking about.' Sonic thought to himself. He opened the letter and what was on the inside shocked him.
"You have been invited to Seasides pool adventures! If you're reading this, You are a VIP member. If you want to cancel this resort, just call the number, *** *** ****"
Sonic was gonna call the number to cancel it, until Tails ran over to him and said, "No need for that Sonic. I already booked all of us for 2 nights there!"

'WHAT?!'
Sonic thought to himself in panic. He couldn't even swim. Infact, he was a REALLY bad swimmer.
"We're going there 5:00pm, okay?" Tails said.
"Yeah, yeah.. that's great!" Sonic replied
.
Sonic was thinking of how the resort might not be so bad. I mean, he didn't even have to swim at all, but just put his feet in the water. He already knows Knuckles and the others are great swimmers. ESPECIALLY Knuckles.
Sonic laid back on his bed for a few hours until it was time to go.

Tails told Sonic its time to leave to go to the resort. Sonic got up and they headed there. It was far away from the town they're in, it took about 30 minutes to get there. As soon as they got there, they walked in the door and up to the front to get the key cards. Each 2 people get a room with 2 beds. (Tails is going with Amy and Sticks and he'll just sleep on one bed while they sleep on the other.) Sonic and Knuckles opened their room, and to their surprise, it only had one bed. "Hey Tails.. I think you got us the wrong room." Sonic told Tails nervously.
"Oh. Ill go to the front to get you another room don't worry!" Tails said before he went down the elevator.

"They said that all the other rooms were booked, and that's the last room." Sonic and Knuckles stared at each other blushing. .. "Its fine!. ill just sleep on the floor its all good.." Sonic said fidgeting
with his hands."I think we should both sleep on the bed." Knuckles suggested.
Sonic stared into the echindas purple eyes while flustered.
"O-only if you want!" Knuckles stuttered.
"No, its okay. Its not a big deal. Right?"

They all got in their bathing suits and headed down to the pools. Sonic was nervous and was fidgeting the whole time. Knuckles saw that he was, and grabbed his hand and held it until they dipped their feet in the pool. Sonic quickly stepped out because he hated the fact that hes probably gonna have to swim. "You dont have to swim." Knuckles said. "I-i know but, i dont know what to do." Sonic said
"You can sit on the edge and dip your feet in without having to swim." Knuckles suggested. Sonic thought it was a good idea, so he did so. He saw all the drunk people in the pool holding up bear cans while in the water. Sonic was looking around anxiously despite how awkward he is sitting there."Hey, *Burp* kid.. why dont cha- *hic* get in the wata? *hic*" A drunk guy asked. "Um..." Sonic said trying not to tell him the real reason.
As soon as Sonic was about to stand up, the drunk guy pulled him in leaving Sonic at the edge of the pool. Sonic was soaking wet as all of the drunk guys friends laughed at him. Sonic was still hanging on to the ledge of the pool and couldnt get up 3 minutes later.
Knuckles looked over and finally saw Sonic struggling. Knuckles 'swam' over, wrapped his arm around Sonic while pulling him out of the pool. It didnt seem like Knuckles was too interested in what happened, so as soon as he did that he swam back to where he was. Sonic could feel tears forming in his eyes as he ran to the boys bathroom. He looked at himself and thought that he was pathetic. He couldnt defend himself, and even Knuckles didnt seem to care
.
After Sonic's little breakdown, he wiped his eyes and washed his face to make it seem like nothing happened. He was still soaking wet and was squeezing all the water out of his fur, into the sink. He hated the way pools made him feel after he goes in them. They make him feel, cold, and make him shake. That's what its doing to him now. He walked out and got one of the pools clean towels they provide. He wrapped it around himself like a kid and headed to the room without saying anything. He was sad that his friends didnt even come to check on him, especially Knuckles, but they were having so much fun so he wasnt that bothered.

He took his towel off and went in the bathroom. He looked at himself in the mirror and brushed back his quills. After a few seconds of looking at himself, he turned to the shower setting it to a normal temperature. He stepped in, and started washing his hair.

After he was done with the shower, he turned off the knobs and stepped out. He could hear footsteps of his friends and them all laughing. (Sorry theres so much angst ill spoil yall in the next one💗) "That was so fun!" "It was such a great idea coming here!" He stepped out and wrapped a towel  around his waist as he heard Knuckles opening the door with a keycard. "Why is this not working?" "Youre holding it the wrong way Knuckles." Sonic heard Amy say as he dried off and put his scarf on. He opened up the bathroom door and saw Knuckles laying on the bed tired. "Well, this was a day." Knuckles said as he sighed.
He was taking up the whole bed so Sonic decided to sit in a chair.
Knuckles grabbed the remote and turned on his favorite comedy channel. "Hahaha!" Knuckles was laughing out loud the whole time Sonic was trying to sleep in the chair. "Can you PLEASE turn it down Knux?"
"Oh, yeah. Sorry." Knuckles said as Sonic ruined the mood. He turned on a romantic movie and went to bed. Sonic felt bad, but finally got peace. He fell asleep in that chair until he woke up, he saw that he was in the bed that Knuckles was in.

"'Its so comfy here..what is th.... Oh! Knux probably moved me off the chair. My neck kind of hurts.' Knuckles arm was around Sonic while his chest was up to his back. Sonic turned over to Knuckles chest and once again, had fallen asleep again.
