A couple of hours passed and we finally made it to the haikyo, the cool summers air blowing softly through the trees that surrounded the base. I of course had to carry yao after the half-way point there, putting him down and looking around at the landscape around me

-"hm... Looks nice here, doesn't it?" I smiled, looking down at yao and patting his head

-"yeah... It does" he looked up at me, smiling too "now, can you tell me more about this... Fuchu military air base?"

-"hai" I cleared my throat "It can be dated back to the 1950s, back when it was an military base used by US 5th Air Force for communication purposes. It was abandoned in 1973... But contributed greatly to US Air Force during the Vietnam war before becoming famous place"

-"whoa... That's a lot, aru" he laughed, looking around and pointing at two large antennas "what are they, aru?"

-"oh, them? Well, those are parabolic antennas, they're are the symbol for this place" I replied happily, smiling

-"I see... This place has a lot of history, aru" he looked around, starting to walk closer to the base

I simply nodded, staring at the vines and vegetation growing up the concrete walls of the base. I felt kinda weird, Feeling like there was something here... Watching us like a predator does with its prey. I had to wrap my arms around myself, shivering and almost vomiting as i was lost in thought, starting blankly. this of course aroused suspicion to yao, who was slowly walking up to me concerned.

-"kiku? You alright, aru?" He looked up at me, waving a hand in front of my face
-"Hm...?" I suddenly snapped out of my thoughts and looked down at him "o-oh, hai... I'm fine"
-"alright, if you're so sure, aru" he shrugged, kissing my cheek and walking off again

I sighed in relief, shaking slightly and still felt like vomiting. I felt something cold on my shoulders, looking back quickly and seeing nothing but the vegetation flutter in the wind. Sighing, I looked forward again and became more nauseous than before, walking up to the abandoned base and finding a steel metal door which was covered in vines. After a while of thinking I ripped off the vines, using all my strength to slide open the heavy door and looking inside.

The inside was pretty simple, just a single room with other doors leading to different areas of the base and a old-looking computer. I thought to myself "Computers like this one weren't made when this base was in use... So why's it here? Did someone put this here?" I probably spent about five minutes staring at this computer and trying to figure it out, i didn't even notice the door closing behind me as I finally snapped out of it and walked closer to the computer. I stood in front of it and flinched as it suddenly turned on, the screen lighting up and displaying nothing but a small, diagonal blinking line. I tilted my head, hearing yao outside as I turned my head to face the door, noticing it was closed and gasping. I started to hear whispering, shaking slightly and looking back at the computer, widening my eyes as letters started to appear on the screen

"LOOK BEHIND YOU, KIKU"

I shook violently, gulping and slowly looking back again. I screamed as I saw a ghostly figure who looked like myself but was covered in bandages, which were wrapped around 'my' chest, eye and were bloodstained heavily

-"W-Who are you?!"
