Ivypaw's POV

This is where I die. Two seconds of hanging out with a kittypet and now I'm being held in the jaws of a dog.
Ivypaw lashed out, the movement made her stomach muscles cramp and she shriveled in pain, but her claws had connected with the smallest dog's nose. It let out a loud whimper and backed up slightly. Ivypaw felt the saliva of the large dog holding her drip into her pelt and soak to her skin.
Oh, that's a good thought. Ivypaw grimaced whenever the dog moved and that's when it started to shake.
She let out a shriek of agony and the world spun around. It got to the point where she had to close her eyes. Motion sickness was not something she wanted to happen right now.
The pain became so unbearable she started to slip unconscious slowly.
No. I'm not doing this again.
That's when she felt the dog release her and she hit the solid ground.
Her vision started to fade back to color and light instead of just darkness. Ollie was standing over her while the dogs raced off. In the distance, she could hear the sound of a twoleg whistling.
Once they were gone, Ollie hopped over her and bent down.
"That...doesn't look healthy." he meowed stupidly.
"You don't say?" Ivypaw wheezed, her voice was hoarse and the taste of blood in her throat wasn't helping.
"I...what am I suppose to do?" he asked.
Ivypaw started to sit up and roll onto her stomach so she wouldn't be laying on her wound. She winced and gritted her teeth from the pain.
"Well, all we can do is hope it doesn't get infected until we find some cobweb." she rasped.
She let out a relieved sigh when her body sturdied itself once she rolled to her belly. The wounds didn't feel too deep, but they still hurt. A lot.
Ollie visibly rolled his eyes, "Right, hoping helps everything." he muttered sarcastically.
Ivypaw couldn't disagree with him for once, but she didn't want to admit it so she stayed quiet.
She craned her neck and lapped at both of the wounds on each of her flanks a few times before trying to get up.
"We need to get moving. Staying here isn't going to benefit anyone." she mumbled.
Her back arched downward from the pain of moving her muscles as she stood up slowly. Ollie looked like he was about to help her, but had seconds thoughts.
Ivypaw couldn't decide whether or not she would actually like help, probably not.
"Right, let's get moving. I know another way, but it's longer." he meowed.
Ivypaw nodded, "I don't care, let's just get out of here."

Ivypaw limped after Ollie, her wounds didn't want to cooperate, but it was at least bearable now. They were in the forest now and Ollie was leading her to where Sapphie had seen the two clan cats last. Unfortunately, Ivypaw forgot to ask Sapphie the names of the Clan cats and Ollie had no idea.
"Do you know how much longer?" she asked.
Ollie didn't even look back, "Not much. We're close." he muttered.
Every time he would look back, his gaze would flicker. Ivypaw could tell he tried to hide it, but it was guilt. 'It's not your fault.' she tried to say. Ollie had ignored her and now he wouldn't look at her.
She decided to just keep quiet now, since there wasn't much of a point to talking.
Ivypaw paused for a moment and perked her ears.
"Wait..." she whispered.
Her tone had been so quiet, it took Ollie a moment before he actually realized she spoke and was no longer following him.
"What are you doing?" he asked, his voice loud and obnoxious as usual.
Ivypaw narrowed her eyes and lashed her tail, shooting him a look that literally said: shut up.
She lowered her head slowly, and bent down to a hunting crouch. Ollie twitched his ear, but eventually copied her.
I swear. If there's more trouble I'm going to explode. Ivypaw kept her jaw shut and prayed to whoever that Ollie would shut his too.
The faint scent of...something hit the roof of her mouth.
Then it disappeared.
Ivypaw's pupils dilated before she pushed herself slowly back to her normal standing position. She grimaced as her side stretched slightly and pulled at her wound.
"What was that all about?" Ollie asked after a while.
Ivypaw shook her head, "Never mind that. I think i'm just being paranoid." she muttered under her breath.
Ollie tilted his head slightly before lowering his muzzle with a sigh, "I think we should take a rest."
Ivypaw perked her ears and her muscles seemed to suddenly ache as if the word 'rest' sounded appealing. She was about to object, but Ollie actually looked exhausted himself.
"How far away are we?" she asked.
Ollie shifted his paws, "If we sleep until dawn, it should take us until sunhigh to get there." he replied.
"You said we were close." she snapped.
Ollie smiled nervously, "Uh, yeah...I was lying."
Ivypaw scoffed slightly, "Obviously," she flattened her ears and admitted, "resting sounds good."
