APRIL-13

"Come on! Wake up!" Summer shouted at me

"Iiiiiiiiiii'mmmmmmm tiiiiired." I said sleepily

"If you wanna look pretty for school, your gonna have to wake up this early."

"I look pretty enough....I wanna go to sleeeeeeeep!" I said

"Come on! Wakey-wakey!" She sent a hot wave through my body.

"Gah! I wish you people would stop doing that!" I climbed out of bed

"Get ready!" Summer left my room. I went into my master bathroom, that I havn't told you about yet. It had a Lillie shaped bath, petal pink walls, a steam shower, a bowl sink, and those Lillie floors that I adore. I brushed my brown hair into elegant curls, and Queen Vera told me that I would always look great because all Seasonals are born looking perfect every day. I put on a pale green V-neck tee with a pale pink cami, and my favorite pair of skinny jeans. My shoes were white Chucks with pink flowers on them. I looked at my face and realized that I didn't really need to put make-up on. My eyes already looked like they had a shimmery pink on them, and my naturally dark and spidery lashes looked like they had mascara. But that was what I looked like all the time, and it couldn't be washed off. I went out the front door to find a school bus parked on the street.

"Come on! First day of school!" Summer said while she grabbed my arm. The bus was loud and stuffy, but it got quiet when people saw that we were on the bus. Everyone looked at Summer, then at me.

"Sammi! Get over here, chica!" A young girl said

"Coming, Suz!" Summer said. We walked to the back of the bus.

"Sammi! I guess good looks run in your family! Look at her! She is gonna turn some heads!" The girl, Suz, said

"Yes, we have been waiting so long to see your sister Tessie!" A different girl said

"Ya, Tess, you were the talk of  the school for a week! Everyone wanted to see if the famous Sammi Season actually had a sister as gorgeous as her! Now look at you!" Suz said

"Guys, she's just been adopted into our foster family. She's not my actual sister." Summer said

School went on forever. Summer told me to not raise my hand or to say answers already programmed in my brain. And every time I would stop looking at the board, I would find that several guys were staring at me. Lunch was the only time I had to see Jesse and Spencer, and they were not the brightest peacocks in the flock. They, too, had people staring at them. But they were all girls. No one dared to sit with us, so we had an entire lunch table to ourselves. After lunch was tiring, and the school had no air conditioning, so I sent a helpful Spring breeze into our spanish class. Summer knew what I was doing, but everyone else looked relieved, too. When we got home, I went up to my room for a nap. School was soooo tiring.
