I stirred violently in my sleep as images of the damned demons danced across my mind. The grey and black creatures taunted me, their tails snaking around my form, slowly covering every inch of my skin and constricting around me.

There was a feint whisper in the air, it sounded like someone was calling my name. Then I felt a warm hand caress my cheek. Another whisper of my name, this time louder and clearer. I recognised that voice, but surely, I had to be mistaken? Azriel was busy fighting off the demons to protect me.

“Azriel!!” I yelled and shot upright in the bed. “Hey, hey, calm down, I am right here” He told me and eased me back down to lie in the bed. “What happened?” I asked him and rubbed slightly over a nagging ache in my neck. “You were stung”. I looked at Azriel in confusion. He seemed…different, calmer and concerned. For me?

“Stung? By the demon?” I asked him. “Yes, by a demon of Asmodeus, the demon who houses lust. They have a sharp point to their tails to poison their victims so that they fall into a deep slumber. Tell me, Mira, do you feel anything else?”.

I felt different too, altered, like I needed something else. I looked up at Azriel as he hovered at my side and tilted my head slightly. Azriel habitually had a constant frown across his forehead, his lips usually pulled into a thin line. Now he seemed uncertain, and those lips? They deserved to be worshiped.

Wait…what!? Worshipped? No, there was definitely something that changed inside me. “Azriel, you said the demon was of…lust?”. “Yes”. “Is…is that…why I feel…”. “What do you feel, Mira. Tell me”. “I…no, it’s nothing, its fine”. Azriel placed a firm hand beneath my jaw and turned me to look at him. “Tell me”.

The sexual tension between us was thick and heavy. Was it always like this between us, or was this simply the effect of the poison? I felt Azriel’s intense grey-blue eyes on me and my gaze fell in cowardice to my hands that were in my lap.

It was sweltering hot suddenly and I knew Azriel was waiting for an answer. But I couldn’t tell him. I couldn’t tell him what I wanted. That I wanted him. “Mira, you have yet to answer me” Azriel reminded me and then sat down on the bed, facing me.

“Don’t make me do this” I whispered. “Make you do what?”. “Make me want you”. Azriel let out a soft sigh before he spoke. “You want me Mira, is that what you feel? Is there anything else? Any pain?” He asked me in a tone that a doctor might use.

Now that he mentioned it, I did feel something else, and unholy ache between my thighs for the touch of a man. That was even worse to convey to him. I pulled my bottom lip through my teeth and chewed on it, not meeting Azriel’s gaze.

“You do feel pain, where is it, show me Mira?”. I swallowed thickly and then placed my hand at the apex of my thighs. “Yes, that is part of the effects of the poison, soon the pain will travel throughout your body if you are not treated”.

“Treated? So, there is something that can help?”. “Yes. Mira, take off your pants”. My head shot up sharply to look at him. “What!?”. “There is no other way and I would be damned if I let any of the others do this. Take it off”.

My hands shivered as they reached for the button on my jeans. I was still wearing the clothes I wore when we were attacked in the sky. There were tears in the material from being clawed and gnawed at by those filthy creatures. My hand pulled on the zipper and then I slipped my thumbs beneath the band and started tugging it down.

Azriel had made himself comfortable at my legs, but I was all stiff and uncomfortable. Azriel must have sensed my uncertainty as he placed his hands over mine and then removed the pants completely.

“Lie down” He instructed and then started removing my underwear. It sounded like Azriel was clicking his tongue in disappointment so I looked up and met his gaze. “You are soaked, Mira” He told me and then without breaking eye contact, latched his mouth onto me.

I let out a groan and Azriel ate me out in a way that could be described in anything other than gentle or slow. My hand involuntarily grabbed onto his head, that was moving at a pace guaranteed to give him a sprain. But he understood what I needed and gave me exactly that.

Bucking my hips back and forth, I met every thrust of his tongue. Azriel slipped his hands beneath my ass and lifted me slightly, affording him better access. I wrapped my legs around him, crossing my ankles to keep him in place, but something was still off. I needed more. I needed all of him.

“Azriel” I told him, breathlessly. He kept his mouth busy but opened his eyes to meet mine. “I need more. I need you”. Azriel watched me for a while, I wondered if he decided to not give in to me and leave me wanting. Then he slowly got up from the bed and started removing his clothes.

Unlike me, Azriel was dressed in a fresh set of clothing, his wounds from the attack were treated and bandaged. I made a mental note to ask him later if everyone else was fine and if this place we were in was the cabin that we were  meant to be coming to.

Azriel’s body didn’t have an inch of extra fat or even extra skin. Every part of him was taunt and sinewy. Every part of him was large and well-formed and beautiful, even his…

“Mira, are you sure you want to do this?” He asked me as he rubbed himself. Azriel was now completely naked and standing before me, awaiting my answer. I nodded my head eagerly. “Please, Azriel”.  Thankfully he heeded my request and settled himself between my legs.

He rubbed himself against me first, coating himself with my essence before slipping the tip in only. I moaned at the feeling, my eyes falling closed as Azriel stroked slowly in and out of me. Then he suddenly forced himself in until he was completely inside me and I yelled out in shock.

From then on, Azriel’s pace kept on increasing, working up a sweat between our bodies. Azriel’s firm grip on my hips were as sharp as those demons, so I asked him to touch me instead. He placed both hands on my breasts, not stopping once as he pounded relentlessly into me. “Oh, Azriel”. “You like that?” He asked me through gritted teeth and I nodded my head, my eyes closing as he rode me.

“Mira”. I swallowed another groan and didn’t answer, as I rode the waves of ecstasy. Again, I heard my name, so I opened my eyes and saw Kazier’s face staring down at mine. I shot up so fast in bed, my head swayed. “Hey, careful” He told me and held me back, puffing the pillow up behind me before placing me against it.

I turned my head slowly to look at my surroundings. Other than Kazier, Zeir, and Adaeon and the woman – Clarren that joined the fight in the sky. The one whom instructed them to join us was there as well. And standing alone on my left, stood Azriel. I locked eyes with him momentarily and immediately looked away.

“What happened?” I asked Kazier but Zeir answered instead. “The demons got hold of you. One of Asmodeus’ demons stung you with their poison. It puts you into a comatose state, but also produces vivid dreams”. “Who did you dream about Mira?” I stared at Kazier with a frown and then down at my hands.

That was all a dream? Everything with Azriel wasn’t real at all? I should have known better, nothing of that sort could ever happen with a man like him. He still hated me, and it was important for me to remember that.

“You do not need to answer him one bit” The other female fallen – Clarren spoke up. “Oh, I am Clarren by the way, this is Adaeon and that one over there closest to Azzie, is Torrin”. “Nice to meet you all” I said with a slight smile after recovering from frowning at Clarren’s nickname for Azriel.

Torrin and Adaeon greeted me and then I turned to look at Kazier. “Are we at the cabin?”. “Yes, we are. And this is your room that you will share with Clarren. Ryelen and Destry has the main suite, and the rest of us will be sharing the third room”. Something about the way he said that made it seem as though he wasn’t too happy with the thought of sharing.

“Mira, I suggest you rest now, it has been quite the eventful day for you and I am certain you will be resuming training tomorrow. After the events with the demons today, if anything else, you need the training”. I nodded my head in agreement with Zeir and then creased my eyebrows in thought. “Zeir, how did they know where we were, the demons?”.

“They were following us, a few demons were tailing the vehicle that Thoren, Ryelen, Destry and Kazier were travelling in. Another few were following the three of us” He explained with an angered expression.

“It does not bode well for us that the demons are working together now. They are aware of each other’s weaknesses and make sure to cover for that. It makes them harder to kill” Adaeon commented, his head shaking slightly.

“But not impossible” Came Ryelen’s voice from the doorway. Then he walked inside and stood across from the bed, facing me. “All of you, wait for me in the dining room. After conversing with Mira, I will join”.

“How are you feeling?” Ryelen asked me after the rest of them had left the room. “Fine. Just a slight sting in my neck”. “I can assure you that it will not last long. Demon poison or blood often has a stronger effect on mortals, but you have slept most of it away”. I cleared my throat twice before speaking. “The dreams…from the poison…”.

“Yes, Mira?”. “They seemed…pretty real to me…”. “Yes, it does seem real but it is not so. The poison does however manifest your darkest and truest unfulfilled erotic need, perhaps something you have hidden from yourself even”.

I stared wide eyed at Ryelen and then recovered any reaction that was about to be shown across my features. Ryelen must have seen my disgust and uneasiness because then he laughed softly.

“Of course, these are all speculations, we have not monitored a mortal that was infected before”. That did little to calm me down, instead it basically made things worse. “Sure” I mumbled and then Ryelen made his way to the door. “Rest for a while, someone will call for you when dinner is ready”.
