Chapter Eight

I woke up to Jasper growling. I quickly sit up and look at him confused. 

"Jazz? What is it?" I asked.

"Black is in Bella's room." He hissed.

I quickly climb out of bed not bothering to slip on pants and head downstairs to Bella's room. I open the door to see Jacob standing by the window about to jump out. I glare at him evilly.

"Why the fuck are you here?" I asked. 

"Talking to Bella." He said before his eyes trailed down. 

Bella quickly threw me her throw blanket. I quickly wrap it around my waist glaring at Jake still. I watched as he jumped out the window and turn to Bella and looking her over worried.

"You okay?" I asked.

"Yeah." She mumbled. "How did you know?" 

"Jasper." I laughed. "Woke me up to growling."

Bella nodded. "He told me to think of the Quileute legend story."

"Well, you deal with that." I mumbled with a yawn. "I'm going to bed and tomorrow I'm staying home with Jazz." 

Bella nodded and I hand her the blanket back before heading up to my room. I sigh climbing into bed with Jasper.

"Bella's gonna find out about the wolves soon." I whispered snuggling into Jasper's chest. 

"Why do you say that darlin?" He asked pulling me closer.

"Jake was here to tell Bella to think about the Quileute legends." I say yawning. "But I don't want to deal with that right now." 

Jasper chuckled kissing my head gently. "Goodnight, my love." 

"Good night, Jazzy." I whispered.

I let out a giggle as Jasper kissed all over my face. We were laying in my bed watching tv when he decided to attack me in kisses. I grabbed his face pulling him into a deep kiss wrapping my leg around his hips. I let out a slight moan as he gently bit my lip. We were interrupted by my phone ringing. I giggled as Jasper pulled away groaning annoyed.

I reach over and grabbed my phone noticing it was Embry calling.

"What do you want Embry?" I asked.

"Okay, so the wolf's out the bag." Embry explained. "Bella ended up punching Paul in the face and well Paul phased going after Bella and Jacob phased mid air and got in a fight with Paul to protect Bella and now we're at Emily's. Sam said to call you and bring Jasper with you just in case we need to calm Jake down." 

"Damn it okay." I sighed. "We'll be there." 

I hang up and look at Jasper who was already getting redressed since he was only in his boxers and I was in my pajamas still. I got dressed in a similar outfit to him except under my leather jacket was my dark grey hoodie.  I throw my hair in a messy bun before slipping on my sunglasses. 

We head out the house and got on his new Harley Davidson VRSCA V-Rod.

Jasper climbed on and got it started before I climb on behind him wrapping my arms around his waist. I grin as he pulled out the driveway and speeding down the road towards the Rez. Once we got to Emily's, Jasper cut the engine and I got off first before grabbing his hand leading him to the small red house. I walk in and immediately go over to a laughing Paul and slap him across the face. 

Everyone was silent for a minute before they burst out laughing as Paul held his cheek looking wounded.

"If you ever fucking phase in the intention of attacking my sister so help me god I will use the gift on you until you're almost dead." I growled as Jasper pulled me back away from him.

I turned to Jake and gave him a smile. "Thank you for protecting Bella." I say causing him to nod.

"Can I talk to Bella?" He asked me.

"That's up to her." I say. 

Jake looks toward Bella who stood up. I kissed her cheek on her way out. Once they leave I turned to everyone. 

"Who won?" I asked.

"Jake." Sam smirked.

I groaned rolling my eyes. "Of course."

"Hey, Jasper how does your power even work?" Jared asked. 

Jasper smirked sitting down beside Paul pulling me into his lap. 

"I can sense other's emotions all the time I'm still learning to fully block them out and mentally I can change their emotions and make them feel whatever I want them to." 

"So can you make someone fall in love with you?" Jared asked.

"No. I can make them feel love but not make them fall in love with me."

I jump as the door opened. 

"Figured out what the blood sucker that's been coming around every time Jasper isn't around is after!" Jake says with Bella following behind.

"That red headed bitch?" Paul asked.

"Victoria." I gasped looking at Jasper. 

"She's after Bella." Jasper growled. "Edward did kill her mate."

"I'm gonna fucking kill that bitch." I growled. "Before she can even touch Bella."

I tried to calm an anxious Bella down as Jasper and the wolves where searching for Victoria and dad was hunting the wolves. I let out a yawn standing up.

"Bells I'm gonna go take a nap." I say.

She nodded biting her thumb. "Okay."

I walk upstairs to my room and climb in bed falling asleep.

I woke up to a cold hand shaking me. My eyes snapped open and I let out a slight scream as I saw Alice's face right in front of me.

"Your sister." She says panicked. "She jumped off a cliff and I didn't see her get pulled out."

"What?" I cried out. "We got to--" 

I was cut off by Alice grabbing me and rushing downstairs and we stood in the dark hallway as the door opened. The lights flick on and a shivering Bella let out a scream holding her heart.

"Alice!" She cried out launching into the pixie vampire's arms.

"How are you alive?" Alice cried out. "I saw you jump off a cliff!" 

"I was uhm cliff diving." She mumbled. "It was exhilarating."
