DUSK TILL DAWN | THIRTEEN
"ILL BE TAKING FLOWERS TO
THE CEMETERY OF MY HEART"
I SAVED YOUR ASSES

NYANE LAID IN BED BY HERSELF, HER MIND GOING 90 MILES PER HOUR. She couldn't believe that they had lied to her. Her father wasn't her father. Why did they have to lie to her? Were they trying to save her from something? Or was it all a cover up for their mistakes?

She had left her mates alone. Shit! She couldn't believe it. She left Edward and James. She missed them.

She tossed and turn as she laid in bed. Her heart was in pain as tears slowly slipped out of her eyes. She sat up and made her way out of her bed to the bathroom.

Jonathan had took them to a warehouse that he turned into a apartment. He slept on the couch and she slept on the bed he made for her. Nyane slowly crept past Jonathan, trying not to disturb his sleep. She closed the bathroom door behind her and sighed. She sat on the toilet and peed.

She was glad that she wasn't on her period now. It would be the worse time to be on the run. She wiped herself and pulled up her pants before flushing the toilet. She turned on the sink and began to wash her hands. She looked up into the mirror and looked at herself in horror. Nyane's eyes were an unusual shade of black like pitch inky black. The kind you see in demons.

She moved closer as she stared into her eyes intensely. Her reflection looked back her with a smirk. Nyane blinked as she shook her head. She wasn't the one smirking. She leaned forward and looked deeper into her reflection's eyes. She moved her head to the left and her reflection did the same. She tilted her head to the right and again her reflection mimicked her movements. She lifted her hand and moved to touch the mirror. Her reflection moved with her, but as she focused on her reflection's face it had a sinister smirk. Her reflection reached through the mirror and grabbed her wrist pulling her forward the mirror. Nyane cried out as she tried to tug her hand back. Her reflection laughed as it dragged her in. Nyane screamed and she used her other hand to break the glass. Her fist hit the glass causing half of it to shatter yet her reflection still had a hold on her. She raised her weak bloody fist and again hit the glass causing her reflection to let go as she fell back.

Nyane's chest heaved as she looked around the bathroom in panic. The door swung opened and a panicked Jonathan ran to her side. "Shit! Nyane, what happened?"

"M-My reflection. I-I." She couldn't get out a sentence without sobbing.

"It's okay I got you." Jonathan sighed as he wrapped himself around her. Her body was shaking and she was beginning to become pale. She had lost so much blood.

"I f-feel c-cold." Nyane whimpered out.

Jonathan smirked as he brought her into the warmth of her chest. "I know how to warm you up."

JAMES STOOD IN THE CULLEN KITCHEN SNACKING ON CHIPS. Esme and Carlisle were gracious enough to allow the Shadowhunters and the Nimue family to sleep in their home. And while for the most part he had his blood lust under control. He was growing anxious at the fact his mate had chose to stay with that boy rather than come back to him.

James growled at the thought of some boy taking his mate away and in anger hit the marble counter causing a crack to form.

"Anger issues much?" James turned at the voice to see Izzy standing there with a tired look on her face. Izzy had her hair pulled up in a ponytail and unlike her usual outfits she wore long sleeve cheetaprint pjs with long pants.
