DTD 2.12 | NYANE SAT IN her bedroom by the bay window. Her eyes concentrating on the big moon in the night sky. Nyane couldn't sleep well. A lot racing through her mind. She was officially grounded for her trip to Italy , but only for a week given the circumstances. Though her mind was on something else.

How was her relationship going to work now? I mean it was already semi hard trying to date only Edward and James, but to add in Roman who she shared a separate connection with. She wondered how it was going to work. If it was going to work.

Nyane was broken out of her thoughts by knocking on the window. Roman. She backed away from the window and opened it to let him in. 

"What are you doing here?" She asked him as he climbed through her window.

Roman looked at Nyane, "I wanted to see if you were okay."

Nyane nodded and sat on her bed. "I'm fine. Grounded for life, but fine."

"How did it go in Italy?"

"You know same old same old. Stopped my ex's from killing themselves, reunited with an old love, met the Volturi, almost died, and now I have to be turned into a vampire." She rushed out.

Roman looked at her confused. She was too calm about the situation. "The Volturi said you have to turn into a vampire? On what grounds do they have that authority?"

"On the grounds of they'll kill me and the Cullens if I don't." She told him. If she was being honest she was making peace with the situation. It was out of her hands anyway.

"I'm sorry you were put in that position." Roman held her hand sincerely.

Nyane shrugged. "Does it really matter? Before you that was the plan anyway. Turn myself into a vampire so I could live with Edward and James forever."

"Now?"

Nyane looked at him, a shimmer of sadness present in her eyes. "I don't know."

A knock on the door rang causing the two to sit up. "Come in!" She yelled.

The door opened to reveal James and Edward walking in with confused looks on their face. "What are you doing here?" James asked pointing at Roman.

The wolf narrowed his eyes at the pale one."Talking with my girlfriend. Shouldn't you be off traveling the world without her?"

"No we're back for good. So you're no longer needed, dog." James sneered.

Edward looked at the two before sighing. It was obvious she was busy with her other mate and James and Edward did not get along at all. "Look, Nyane we'll come back later. When you're in better company."

Nyane stood up abruptly and shook her head. "No, we all need to talk . So sit down, both of you." She waved to the empty chairs in her room. James and Edward shared a look of confusion before sitting down.
