THE LAST COUPLE OF NIGHTS, NYANE DIDNT SLEEP GOOD. She had been having the same dream for the last couple of nights.
She was walking in a clearing and she saw her family. But it seemed no matter how far she walked she couldn't make it into time for every time Edward, another vampire, and a shifter attacked and killed them.
The wolf bit her sister's head off, the unknown vampire drained her mother and Edward knocked off her father's head.
All that was heard was her screams and the sounds of the supernatural feasting on her family. She woke up in cold sweats and her damn window kept being open.
She wanted to tell her parents, the Cullens were vampires. Maybe she should have but they wanted normal lives. And as much as she did miss hunting, she wasn't selfish. Plus she knew they weren't responsible for the killings. The cullens eyes were topez and vampires who feed on human blood eyes on red. She figured they were vegetarian.
"You look like shit." Leon said as he leaned against his car. They were waiting for the buses to come get them for their biology field trip.
Nyane rolled her eyes. She thought she looked good this morning. She wore light blue ripped jeans, black and white flannel, a white short halter top, and black converse sneakers.

"Stop with your hating ass shit." Nyane said flipping him off. "I look good."
"Sure you do. But your eyes make you look ike shit which is weird, because your eyes are the most attractive thing about you." He said. His grandmother always told him eyes are the doors to the soul. And he believed her. "So what's wrong?"
"Bad dreams." She mumbled rubbing her eyes. Leon threw his arm around her and she leaned her head into his embrace.
Nyane looked across the lot to see the Cullens looking at her more tense than usual. Edward had his jaw clenched tight, looking between them both. Nyane furrowed her eyebrows in confusion only to receive an eye roll in response.
