I Found You

                                                                 Chapter 1

When I got home I went straight into my room. Today had been the day from Hell. First, I fail a test worth a third of my grade. Then I know I have to come home to my mom's boyfriend Jax. But this time he wasn't home. I just let it go thinking he got called into work early. Well he got back around 4 and I just stayed in my room.

"Tessa! Get your ass down here!" he yelled. I hated it when he yelled. It scared me. So I did what I was told. "What's this?" he hissed as I walked into the kitchen. "A dirty dsh." I say, making it obvious that I don't know why he's asking me this. "Yeah, you were supposed to do these!" he yelled. "Sorry, jeez, I had a bad day. Dishes were the last thing i was worried about." I sass. Bad idea. "I'm tired of your atitude missy!" he yells and forcefully pushes me towards the sink.

"What was that for?" I yell. "For being a lazy ass!" he yells back and slaps me. "Don't hit me!" I yell back. I'm gonna fight this guy. I won't let him just push me around - literally. "I can do whatever the hell I want." he said through his teeth and pushed me onto the ground. "Now don't say another word." his voice boomed iin the empty house. I saw his leg go up to kick me, and in a spplit second I grabbed a dirty knife off the counter.

"Back off." i say harshly."You don't scare me." he said and kicked me in the side until I dropped the knife. I was in too much pain. But I'm not gonna let this guy kill me. I know he wants to. "Wait....until...my mom...finds me." I try to gather my breath. "No way in hell she's seeing this." he said, bashing his foot iinto my side one more time. By this time I was coughing up blood. "Weak." he  spit, and bashed my head into the nearest chair.

Then it all went black.
