[The Temple Hideout - Bottom Floor]

The room was vast and dark - only illuminated by the light coming from the fire in the center of the room burning in the square dip in the floor - while the bandits cooked over the flame, lounged around, or just chatted with each other about the new score that their boss and the generals were planning in the room upstairs. One of the bandits looked around the room before his eyes landed on the window when he thought his ears picked up on something. He rose from his seat and walked over to the window and looked out - the glare from the sun hurt his eyes for a while before they began to adjust, allowing him to open his eyes all the way - just in time to see the army of shadow clones dressed in orange jumpsuits rushing in the direction of the temple.

"We're under attack!" he called out but his warning wasn't processed fast enough when the wooden door imploded into splitters and the shadow clones ran into the room as the bandits scurried to jump to their feet and gather their weapons but the clones have already engaged in combat with of the bandits while the others tried to get upstairs to warn the bosses but a boy in a dark blue shirt and a girl in a red dress blocked their path to the stairs and charged at them, knocking the weapons out of their hands before knocking them out.

On the middle floor - a man with a battleax attempted to chop the white dog in half but the moon-eyed girl struck him in the center of his stomach, shutting down his chakra and making him feel rather weak before she jumped up and roundhouse kicked the man in his face, making him fall down with a loud thud before she moved on to the next opponent. Once everyone was done, Kiba upped the cuffs out of his pouch and threw 2 to Hinata to cuff the bandits she took down and threw one pair to Shino to take his captive before taking his own. The Members of Team 8 walked the bandits down the stairs after Hinata shut down their chakra points to make sure none of them could try anything.

Upon reaching the bottom floor, Naruto was cuffing the last bandit while Sasuke stood off in the corner and Sakura was talking to him, he looked up to Kiba and his squad as they brought the bandits down to make them sit next to their comrades.

"You guys cleaned your floor too?" Naruto asked as he walked over to Kiba, who was placing Akamaru in his jacket before zipping it up to the puppy's paws.

"Yeah, there were only 5 of them so it wasn't that hard but there was this mountain of a dude but Hinata knocked him out with a kick to the face." Kiba said as he gestured his thumb in Hinata's direction.

"You took that large guy out, Hinata-chan?! Wow! You're stronger than I thought, that's incredible!" Naruto praised her, making her look to the ground and fiddle with her fingers as she blushed.

"T-Thank you, N-Naruto-kun." Hinata said with a smile. That was when Kakashi and Kurenai walked down with the Generals in cuffs, but that's when Hinata noticed something.

"Wait, Kurenai-sensei, there were five people on the top floor." She activated her Byakugan and looked at the Chakra Signatures of the men in the teachers' grasp and her eyes widened. "None of these men are Inazuma." She began looking around when her 360 Degree Vision picked up on another signature that wasn't in cuffs, she looked up and her eyes were shocked at the sight of a man in a ronin robe with a bow in his hand, and in the other hand was an arrow made of pure lightning.

"Lightning Style: Lightning Arrow!" Inazuma released the lightning arrow.

"Scatter!" Kakashi said as he moved away.

Kurenai moved away.

The other squads moved away but Naruto was frozen in fear with Hinata at his side.

Time seemed to slow down for Hinata and she looked at the path the arrow was going and it was aiming right for Naruto's Heart. Hinata's body acted before her mind could process what she was going to do, she pushed Naruto out of the way, causing the future Hokage to land against the stairs but she wasn't able to move when she felt an electrifying pain come in through her back and pierce her body and come out through her chest, going right through her chakra core.

Naruto looked wide-eyed as he watched Hinata's body jerk around in agony as the lightning electrocuted her from the inside out, making the heiress scream in pain, the flow of her own chakra spreading the jutsu throughout her body - the blue energy of the arrow in her body shined throughout the entire room was illuminating a flickering blue with the screams of the heiress. The lightning strikes the area around before the arrow disappeared and the light faded away. Hinata stood there for a moment when her head pointed to the sky and her body smoking from the black home in the center of her body and small currents of lightning running along her body bere she fell to her knees and then on her side - completely motionless with the lightning flowing over her one last time before it completely faded away.

"H...H...HINATA-CHAN!!" Naruto roared out as he pushed himself off the stairs and ran to her, sliding to his knees as he gathered her body in his arms and began shaking her to wake her up, "HINATA-CHAN! HINATA-CHAN! WAKE UP! TALK TO ME! HINATA-CHAN!!!" Naruto cried out but there wasn't a singe sound coming from her, Naruto placed his ear on Hinata's chest and listened - Hinata's heartbeat was still there but it was so weak and fading.

"If You Don't Get Moving, You're Going To Lose Her, Kit."

The Dark Voice of Naruto's Prisoner growled out in the boy's head, making his eyes widen as he gathered Hinata in his arms and rose to his feet before running for the open door with the smoking body of the Hyuga Heiress in his arms and tears in his eyes at the thought of Hinata dying.

"Naruto!" Sakura called out as she watched him run into the sun with Hinata's body in her arms.

"I'm not losing her, damnit!!!" Naruto barked back as he ran in the direction of the forest line.

'Don't die, Hinata-chan! I can't lose you!!!' Naruto roared in his mind as the familiar feeling of the Nine-Tailed Chakra leaked into his system, making him run faster. He reached the treeline and jumped into it - leaping over 10 branches at a time as he looked down at the face of the girl in his arms.

The girl that pushed him out of the way of near death.

"Just hold on, Hinata-chan! I'll get you to the village! I won't lose you!" Naruto cried out as his entire body glowed with the Nine-Tailed Fox's Chakra as he moved through the forest like a red blur.
