"Hello everyone, today we have two very special guests with us. Please give a round of applause for Maxwell Jenkins and Drake Baldwin!"

I held Drake's hand as tightly as possible, knowing how nervous he must be with all these people watching. I was so against him coming on camera, but he wanted to let the world know what really happened. He was tired of the rumors and assumptions about what I did.

When the applause died down, the tv host smiled at us both. "So, you two seem to be very popular right now. Maxwell being America's favorite actor and Drake essentially being the son of a billionaire. I mean what is it like to be swarmed with a million questions every time you step foot outside?" The host asked us while staring at Drake. I took the initiative and answered the question, knowing Drake was still overwhelmed by the paparazzi.

"It's a little intimidating. Obviously I'm use to the rumors and lies, but to straight up be criticized for something I didn't do isn't fun. Drake and I made the decision to be together," I explained. Drake shifted in his seat a little while squeezing my hand. He was nervous as expected. If he didn't want to say anything then I'd answer everything if he wanted me to.

"Well I guess that comes with us not knowing how you two met and what the circumstances were. Do you mind going into detail about that because everybody assumes Max stole you away from your ex-fiancé?" the host asked. Drake's big blue eyes blinked slowly as he began speaking in that soft delicate voice that I loved so much. It was such a loaded question and I didn't expect Drake to respond but he seemed content with letting everyone know that I would never do such a thing.

"I didn't meet Max until after I ran away from home."

There was an awkward moment of silence and shock as the host looked at Drake in confusion. "You ran away from home? Why?"

Drake's eyes fell to our latched hands before rising to look at me. It was like he was asking if it was safe to spill his life story on camera. I smiled at him, feeling the need to kiss his nerves away.

"Well, I grew up with a very controlling father..."

"You mean Nathaniel Baldwin? One of the richest men alive," the host pointed out. I didn't understand why they needed to place an emphasis on such a thing. They shared the same last name. There was no point in making sure everyone knew that Drake was his son.

"-Yes. Every aspect of my life was controlled by him simply because I was his only omega child. From what I wore to what I ate. There were times when I was told that if I got to fat or wore the wrong clothes no alpha would want me," Drake explained. There was so much I still didn't even know. I guess Drake was still unpacking the mental and emotional abuse he endured from his father.

"Oh my! Thats a little extreme don't you think? You're exceptionally beautiful and any alpha would be lucky to have you. I understand why you ran away. Who wouldn't. However, you were engaged. What happened with that and who is this boy you were engaged too?" The tv host asked. Drake nervously bit his bottom lip, probably debating on telling this part of his story. It was definitely the hardest part to tell simply because of the nature of it. People would get in trouble and a investigation would surely take place.

"Man, it was a man I was engaged to. The moment I started puberty and my heats began, my father arranged for me to get married. Like you, I had assumed that my father had picked out a nice boy around my age to be with, but it was a man almost twice my age," Drake disclosed. The Tv host's face completely drained of blood as his mouth dropped. It wasn't unheard of for older Alpahs to prey on innocent omegas who had just hit puberty. Of course there were laws in place for such a thing, but in Drake's case, his situation involved a lot of rich people.
