The sun was beaming through the cracks of the window that was left ajar causing her to stir. She turned on her side with a groan before slowly peeling her eyes open.

She felt a yawn consume her as she groggily sat up and looked at her unfamiliar surroundings.

Where was she again?

With a tired rub to her eyes and another yawn, she took in the objects in the room. She was in a double sized bed, draped over her were black sheets. To her left was a bed side table with a pair of what seems to be reading glasses sitting atop of it. Then she looked further to see the room included a simple wooded table with paper scattered on it and a shelf that held coloured files and books.

Memories from yesterday night came flooding back to her and she gasped. She didn't remember returning home last night so that meant she stayed overnight in...

Hatori's room?!

She flung herself back onto the bed and curled her hands under a pillow. She face planted into it and squealed, not before getting a waft of Hatori's cologne that lingered on the pillows. This was his bed, after all. And she just couldn't believe it.

"Oh no!" She exclaimed, sitting up. If she slept in his bed, where did he sleep?! She chewed her bottom lip.

A noise sounded from outside of the room, and she turned her head to the direction of it. Moments later, the paper doors slid open, revealing the man she stole the bed from.

As always, Hatori looked handsome even in the early hours of the morning. He was dressed in a simple white button-up with two of his top buttons unbuttoned, revealing a tiny but of his chest, and along with it were his black dress pants. In one hand he held a box of cigarettes and a lighter, while the other was tucked into his pocket.

"Good morning. I see you're awake now," He started.

"G-Good morning, Hatori-san." Ichika replied shyly. "I'm really sorry, I didn't mean to take over your bed for the entire night."

"Don't worry about it. You were exhausted last night and you passed out from crying. You needed it more than me." He responded.

Her cheeks reddened in embarrassment. "I see. I must have cried a lot." Like a baby, her mind reprimanded her.

Hatori stepped in and placed down the contents in his hands onto the bedside table. Then he walked over to the other side of the room and slid the doors to that lead to the porch.

More light beamed into the room as a result and there was an increase of volume of the birds chirping outside.

"Yes, you were crying so much you didn't want to let go of me either."

"Pardon?" She gaped, unsure if she heard right. "I did what?!" Ichika could feel her cheeks heat up even more as she imagined herself clinging onto his poor shirt and staining it with her snot and tears. She abruptly slapped both hands onto her cheeks.

"Then on top of that, you drooled on me while you slept and hit me twice in the face. Were you somewhat dreaming of being a boxer in your sleep or something?"

Ichika gasped.

"Oh no, I'm so sorry!" She cried. She must have caused him so much trouble.

The corner of Hatori's lips lifted upwards. He smirked at the success. "Just kidding," He stated. "Although only half of what I said was true."

Her jaw dropped in disbelief and Hatori chuckled at her reaction. She then sulked, slightly puffing the side of her cheek and narrowed her eyes. "How could you." She grumbled. "So which part was a lie?"
