Third person pov
That night everyone settled for light drinks in the backyard. The weather was kinda warm with occasional soft breeze but out of no where it started raining. It is the downside of being in a forest area, nobody can predict the climate.
They all shuffled inside, trying to secure their booze.
"How about we play dodge ball in the rain?" Prem suggested.
All the heads turned to one another, "Why not!??", someone said and like that they rushed into the rain playing like little kids.
The game was filled with cheating and laugher. Everyone started pulling each other's luck and tricked.
The ball was in Em's hand and he targeted Oak with it. "Em don't you remember the time when I helped you hack your exam results? or when I distracted Kong so you could have a go at-"
"Ok shut up pig!" Em left him alone and targeted someone else as everyone laughed.
When Irene had the ball and targeted Knott, all it took was one 'babyy' and a little pout to make Knott lose his game. Knott cringed at himself for being too whipped but then he realized he doesn't regret.
Soon Kong acquired the ball and targeted Arthit who blurted, "Kong! Ain't I your favorite senior? I know you like me" Kong froze as the others went silent.
"Arthit that was low" Tootah mouthed as Arthit simply shrugged.
What Arthit did not expect was the ball to strike him right on his leg, the ball that Kong threw on him despite his reasoning. Everyone went ahead and continued to play but Arthit couldn't, not when his mind replayed the loud 'not anymore' Kong let out.
'not anymore? am I not his favorite senior anymore or he doesn't like me anymore?' Arthit's mind kept on thinking it again and again till the rain stopped and the boys retired to their respective rooms.
Arthit stayed back, slowly walked on the wet- after rain grass on bare foot, he felt someone cover him with a blanket from behind.
"Phi you might catch cold" Kong whispered coming into his line of vision. Arthit froze for the second time that evening when he felt Kong brush his lips on his forehead, smiling sweetly at him, leaving him dumb and speechless and slightly flushed.
'What just happened? was I dreaming? but then I do have the blanket so its not a dream'. Arthit decided he was too tired to make his cog wheels run. So he simply decided to go back to his room.

Days went by rather quickly. The boys enjoyed every bit of it. Though Irene was new to all of them, she quickly blended into their gang like she had always been there since the beginning.
It was a thursday morning and Arthit didn't get proper sleep. Mainly because Arthit's brain was too restless to shut down and sleep. He decided to go out of his suffocating room. It was way past 8 in the morning already.
"Hey guys" Arthit joined in the dining with everyone. He noticed that all greeted back except that one junior of his, who was rapidly typing on his phone. He looked tensed. The past few days, Kongpob kind of ignored Arthit, if Arthit noticed it, he didn't comment on it. It was what he wanted right..?
They all started discussing what to do for the day over their breakfast, few wanted to go hiking, few wanted to play video games at their in-built play station. Arthit settled for the latter along with Tew, Tootah, Oak, prem, Wad and Kongpob.
Suddenly Kong's phone started buzzing and Arthit did not miss the grin that etched the younger's face seeing the caller ID. That did not sit well with Arthit, but he shrugged.
