Spencer POV
Spencer got lost in his own world as he completed his paperwork. Emily and Derek were chatting while JJ was looking for new cases. Richard and Garcia went over to join Emily and Derek and Amy was passed out by him. She hasn't been sleeping good the past few days and Spencer is starting to get worried. It's just like when they were younger, Amy won't tell him anything even if he wants to help. He had been so deep in thought that he didn't hear Amy yell but he did hear the crash, as did everyone else in the bullpen. Amy jumped up and she looked shaken. "You good Reid?" Derek asked.

"Yeah. I woke up and stretched, didn't realize how far back on the chair." Amy groaned. Spencer got up to help her but she just held her shoulder. "Would not recommend falling on your metal arm if you have one though." Spencer helped her up as she stretched. "I think I fucked up my back though."

"Dude at least it's Friday." Rich said. Spencer was happy about that. The weekend meant nothing but reading, watching movies and trying to solve tv crime shows with Amy. "Any plans for the weekend?"

"I got nothing planned." Emily said.

"I'm planning on just catching up on some crafting this weekend." Garcia said.

"Me and Re-re are hanging out at home." Amy said as she stood next to Spencer.

"I'm heading out to Chicago this week for my mom's birthday." Morgan said. After a few more hours of paperwork it was finally time to head home. Derek had offered to drive the Reids home.

"God I hate paperwork." Amy groaned from the backseat. Spencer offered the front seat to her but she said that her back still hurt from landing on her metal arm so she wanted to lay down in the car.

"Amy sit up." Spencer said.

"I'm fine Spencer-"

"In 2000, only 70.7% of front seat passengers were observed using seat belts, and 60.2% of occupant deaths were unrestrained-"

"Alright I'll sit up." Amy groaned. Spencer heard Derek laugh and he couldn't help but smile. Spencer cleared his throat as Amy started talking to Derek. After ten minutes they were in front of the Reid's apartment complex. "Have a good flight Der. Tell your ma we said happy birthday." She said as the three of them got out of the car.

"I will Sarg don't worry." Derek smiled back at Amy. "Hey no blowing each other up while I'm gone!" Derek yelled as they walked away from his car. Amy just flipped him off and yelled no promises while Spencer went back to chat with Derek for a little while. "I meant what I said Pretty Boy no science test while I'm gone. You guys get hurt more often from those then when you guys are in the field." Spencer laughed at what he said while he scratched the side of his face.

"I'm not the one that's good with tools." Spencer said.

"Yeah but I don't know how many ideas you keep in the pretty little head of yours Reid." Derek teased and he ruffled Spencer's hair. Spencer felt his face heat up so he just stood there staring at the ground. His heart was beating so hard that he was scared that Derek could hear it though statistically it would be impossible for Derek to hear it unless he had sup- "Spencer?" Spencer looked up in his eyes and saw that Derek was concerned and confused yet he still had that teasing hint. "You okay?"

"Yeah just work...."

"Get inside man and rest." Spencer diverted his eyes from Derek and started picking at the skin on his hand. "Hey come on." Derek grabbed both of his hands. If it were anyone else Spencer would have yanked them away so fast that they might've caught fire but instead he felt a part of him relax when Derek rubbed his thumb on the back of Spencer's hand. "You know me and your sister don't want you doing that. I could tell Garcia and then you'll be in trouble." Spencer laughed again as Derek smiled back at him. Derek let his hands go and grabbed a hoodie that he was holding. "Here. You can play at this while I'm gone instead of your hands."
