Avengers Tower, New York, USA

It had been one and a half years since Luisa and Bucky had joined the Avengers and moved in. They had fought often side by side and grew together as a team.

Over the time, Luisa had taken over cooking, cleaning and all in all caring about everything and anyone. She had taken care of Peter as he had a cold, calmed Tony down after an anxiety attack in the middle of the night and even got the Hulk under control as he was furious about something.

"Stark! Banner! Down here; right now!" the brunette yelled. She was more than furious. Her hands were surrounded by floating sparkles like the ones flying over a campfire late in the night. Her eyes were a bright red. As Tony and Bruce entered the kitchen, they kept their eyes fixes onto the ground, not daring to look at her.

"What have you done to MY KITCHEN!" she asked in a growl. Behind her, the kitchen was covered with a thick layer of ash. Both men stayed silent.

"I am waiting," she pushed.

"We just wanted to cook something," Tony finally answered, risking a small peak at her. Now having a decent smile tucking at her lips, her eyes morphed back to their normal color.

"F.R.I.D.A.Y. turn on the fan," she ordered. White feathers with black tips started to spill from her back. Her wings were turning more and more white. It only happened when she was more than furious that they turned black or even seemed to burn off slowly.

With some moving of her wings, the black layer flew around and then got filtered out.

"Why haven't you waited for me to come back?" she asked, now in a soft voice. The young woman had gotten back from work only minutes ago. She was working in a small sewing room, that was run by S.H.I.L.D. but no one knew about it. The Avengers had noticed that the dark-haired 24 years old wasn't around all day but to her surprise, not one ever asked.

"I wanted to wait but Tony said 'oh we don't have to wait for her to come back. We are grown men and don't need her to make some food'," Bruce imitated. With a warm smile on her face, Luisa said "Well, seems like you have to wait for me."

As the ex-assassin wanted to start cooking something for the team, her phone started ringing. It was Fury.

"Hello?" she asked.

"Luisa, come to HQ. We need you here. Oh, and put on one of your 40's dresses." He ordered. Excusing herself, she went to get changed.

"Just in time," Fury called. He and Luisa walked through several halls in silence.

"Why did you call me? By the way it sounded, it must be important," she asked, her German accent kicking in.

"We have found Captain America," he answered without a hint of any emotions.

"You have... What?!" the woman asked, not moving an inch.

"He was frozen since 1943."

"How is he still alive?" she asked, now jogging behind him to catch up.

"The serum. It's nearly the same that you got," he answered shortly.

"And why am I here?" Luisa asked as they stopped in front of a door.

"Get him to trust you and introduce him to the modern world," Nick told her before opening the door. The woman entered, the only sound coming from her careful steps and the deep breathing of the man in front of her. She sat down in a chair next to his bed, reading on her phone. Hours passed and nothing happened. Just as Luisa wanted to get up to get something to drink for herself, a deep breath got her attention.

Slowly two baby blue eyes opened. At first, they were directed to the ceiling but soon they started to look around the room. They jumped from point to point till they landed on Luisa. Looking at her he asked, "Where am I?" His voice was lightly shaking but it already made Luisa's legs feel like pudding.

"You are in New York. This is a private medical bay. We found you and brought you here."

"Oh... Who are you and what happened?"

After that Luisa introduces herself and told the Captain everything he wanted to know. She was surprised at how calm he reacted as she told him that he had been frozen for 84 years.

"What am I going to do now?" the Captain asked. Luisa was taken back. She hadn't thought about that yet. After staring at his blanket for a moment, she answered.

"At first it's important that you recover and afterwards we'll see." The blond man nodded. A nurse entered.

"I'm sorry Miss Wolf but the visiting time is over. I have to ask you to leave." Luisa nodded and stood up.

"I'll see you tomorrow, Captain Rogers," she said politely.

"See you tomorrow," he replied sleepily. A yawn escaped his mouth and Luisa chuckled to herself before closing the door behind her. How could he be tired again after sleeping for so long?
