After making their dea- agreement, Dawn spent the rest of her day looking up information. About the books attributed to Solomon. About The Great Grimoire. About the 70 lost books of Ezra. And then finally about The Jordan Lead Codexes.

The next day, after getting a good amount of sleep, as she swore to The Necromancer she would do, she entered into the training room. A little before 7 even. 7 being the time that she promised to be there by. Although, all she really had to do was just go into the next room, so it wasn't that big of an accomplishment.

The Necromancer welcomed her. "Your early. Good." He turned to the tall blonde man beside him. "Florian, show her what you can do. Just a small fireball nothing too powerful."

Florian did as he was instructed. Turning to the closest of the many targets that were set up within the room. Within his mind's eye he then envisioned a star made of fire (his signature move). He held out his right hand, pointing his arm toward the target with his hand open, and chanted, "Hom-miman ko-a-hav," A flame appeared before his palm, forming into the shape of a small star. "Hah!" He yelled. And it flew at the target, scorching it slightly.

"As you can see, all of my students have all learned, to some degree, the forbidden knowledges. To be more exact, the secret art of elemental transmutation."

"And you wish to teach me all this as well?" Dawn questioned. She still was quite skeptical of him. She didn't trust him.

"It would be far more prudent to teach you to wield the angelic abilities that you already possess." He answered.

He held out his right hand pointing it at the target as Florian had. "You see, as I said before, everything is energy, our bodies, the air before us, everything. When you truly realize this, you'll realize that there is little distinction between us and the air. That we ourselves, are only energy acting upon other energy. And so, moving a ball of fire with mere thought waves and sound vibrations, is no different than if I were to pick up a baseball and throw it with my hand. It's energy acting upon energy. This might sound confusing to you at first, because it challenges the way you currently think. But it's actually very simple. Basic science.

"When I focus my brain on concentrating on the idea of fire being created before me, and picture it within my mind's eye, I am using thought energy to make it so. And then, when I say 'Hom'. I am using the energy of sonic vibrations to help transmute the energy before me into fire. 'Hom' increases the speed of the energy, making it hotter. And when combined with 'miman' which transmutes the air into hydrogen, it creates fire.

"Hom miman," He repeated. This time with the intention of summoning fire and picturing the flame within his mind. And a small flame like that of a lighter, appeared before his palm. It was quite small. About the same size that the star had been.

"oooo-hay-oooo, Hi-aa.' He stated. And the flame formed into a ball and then grew to twice it's size.

"You see Dawn, by using sonic vibration of 'oooo-hay-oooo' along with picturing my intention of forming the fire into a ball within my mind, I am able to form the fire into a ball. This is a very important step. For power uncontrolled, can have devastating effects. Especially at the higher levels. With fire this is easy to understand. Everyone knows that fire can burn and cause damage. Balls are the most often used shape. They are easy to imagine. However, in theory any shape can work. I'm sure you have noticed that Florian has added some flare by using the shape of a star instead. For he has mastered this fireball spell. And many of its forms."

"You just called it a spell. I thought you said it wasn't magic?"

"I use words you understand because it is easier than explaining things that don't need to be explained. Also spelling isn't arcane, it is merely the pronunciation of words. And that is what we are doing right now. This is the true origin of language. The original word for fire was Hom-miman. That is why when you brake down a word into it's components we call it spelling."
