The vast infinite void of space. Silent and un-forgiving the very planets on which we live spin through it. A meadow class planet spinning through this very void with two sister moons sits peacefully on the rim of the Great Influence, surrounded by a belt of mineral rich asteroids. The blackness is space however is interrupted by a shimmering plane, a ripple of disturbance in the void, breaking the laws of physics an echoing crackle can be heard in the vacuum.
These signs mean only one thing, a ship is warping to this very sector, suddenly the shimmer becomes a hole showing a massive black expanse on the other side. A flash of light and a loud crack sounds and suddenly as if appearing out of nowhere a ship as big as two Earth moons takes up the once empty space near the planet. This ship shaped like a spear head is known as Erna in Hy'empirian tongue meaning Chaos. Footsteps are heard behind him as a low-ranking messenger-scribe makes his way towards him " Arch-Admiral, Sir!" the messenger salutes addressing him. Halleck turns away from the hard light hologram of the planet to face him.
" What news do you bring messenger?" Halleck would make a dismissive gesture with his hand "At- ease scribe, tell me your message. You may speak"
"We are ready to send confirmation of our arrival to Terra sir" the messenger said his posture relaxing.
"Send it as soon as you can, we must begin our operation soon if we are to have any success" Halleck said inflicting tones of command to his voice.
"Copy!" the messenger-scribe would rush off jogging at regulation messenger running speed.
Halleck would turn back to the hard light image of the peaceful planet spinning in the void. A planet that won't be peaceful for long...
