In orbit above the planet Elysium. The Erna deploys its landing craft and immediately sends troops down to the planets surface.
Inside the Royal Elysium Palace the king is shouting for order as his advisors are shouting in panic, a messenger runs in and informs the king about the incoming dropships. The kings face goes pale, he immediately barks orders for the Elysium army to assemble.
Elysium, was a peaceful planet that did not want to merge itself into the Hybrid Empire. Partly because they disliked the ways of the Empire and wished to remain independent. Elysium is orbited by two mineral rich moons and the asteroid belt that surrounds the planet is also rich in minerals. This in turn garnered the Hybrid Empires interest in having control of Elysium. After years of diplomatic struggle the Hybrid Empire has finally declared war in order to posses those materials.
The landing craft enter Elysium's atmosphere. Escorted by Scorpion Fighters they start to make their way towards the designated LZ. Almost immediately Elysium's aerial defense cannons come online and start firing shots at the invaders. A fighter is shot down as a blue bolt of energy strikes it, sending it spiraling down into the forest below, the rest of the fighters and landing craft take evasive action as blue bolts streak past them.
The Elysium army launches its own fighters, sending them to intercept the invading Hybrid craft, the zoom off the pad and into the sky. The Hybrid fighter pilots pick them up on their scanners and move to intercept.
