"Why are you crying?" He asked as I sat down on the couch.
"That's my favorite song right now and I just relate so much to it, and you just sang it to me in front of all those people," I fanned my eyes. "Thank you so much Chance, it just means a lot."
"No problem, but stop crying." He said as he grabbed my hands and looked me in my eyes. "Everything's going to be alright." He told me.
"Thanks," I mumbled as I wiped my face with the back of my hand. "Tonight was amazing, you were amazing, the Social Experiment was amazing, the lighting, the energy. Everything was amazing," I admitted. "This was all like a dream come true."
"Well that's an honor," Chance chuckled as he placed his arm over his chest. "You trynna kick it with ya boy tonight?" He asked.
"Yeah sure," I said as I blushed.
I just can't believe all of this is happening right now.
"I'll drive," Chance suggested as I followed him out of the stadium.
"It's a little messy in here," he chuckled as I got in the passenger seat of his Mustang.
"Messy where?" I asked admiring his car thinking it was brand new in the voice from that girl on Vine.
"Like its dirt on the floor, crumbs everywhere." He said causing me to chuckle.
"You're funny," I said as he started the car.
After driving for twenty minutes, we pulled up to his home. It wasn't anything fancy or huge but it was nice. It had a white pickett fence and a nice garden.
"Welcome to my abode, make yourself at home," he said as he unlocked his front door. "Excuse the mess," he said as I was met with a beautiful foyer.
"It's beautiful," I told him.
"Thank you, I picked everything out myself." He said as he led me into the living room.
"Great taste," I said.
I sat on this white plush couch, running my hands over it. Everything in his home was beautiful. He had different works of art on the wall as well as family portraits. My favorite photo is of Chance and Taylor, at his Taylor's graduation which I spotted on one of the walls.
"Are you hungry or thirsty? Can I get you anything?" He asked as he removed his hoodie revealing a white tee.
"Water's fine, thank you." I said as he went to the kitchen.
Soon I heard Erykah Badu playing softly in the background.
"Mind if I smoke?" Chance asked after giving me a cold water bottle.
"It's your house, do whatever you want." I told him.
"I'm just making sure you're comfortable with it, what if you had asthma or some shit?"
"But nah I don't mind," I answered his question as he pulled a cigarette from behind his ear.
"So tell me about yourself," he said as he lit the cigarette.
"What do you wanna know?"
"Any and everything. You seem cool and I just wanna get to know you better," he said as he blew smoke out of his mouth and nose.
"I'll try that, ask questions along the way." I told him. "Well my name is Nyeesha Brooks, I'm 22 years old, I'm getting my Bachelor's degree in two weeks, I love music," I said before he cut me off.
